Description

This BLAZE™ 100 foot laser measure is a fully featured tool with a brighter graphic display and new user-interface design for easier measuring. The graphic display illuminates numbers with distinct resolution, for work in low- light or no-light conditions and better readability. The display features intuitive icons, big-number mode and upgraded contrast to make it easier to read. The user-friendly layout features two-button operation: one for measuring, one for rounding. The rounding button is a unique function that allows user to easily round the measurement result from 1/2 up to 1/32 inch. It has default real-time measurement mode, immediately providing accurate measurement that automatically adjusts closer to or farther from the target. The laser measure features an enhanced user interface, including a click wheel for easy setting and function navigation. Its keypad design includes a standalone recessed measuring button, to make it easy to distinguish just by feel. The grip is slimmer, making the laser easier to handle. This compact measurer is easy to carry and fits in your pocket. It features full rubber overmold housing, which helps protect every major point, with a design similar to a roll cage.

The Bosch laser tape measure is a great tool — accurate, easy to use, and super convenient compared to a regular tape. The display is clear, the measurements are spot-on, and it really speeds up projects. The only downside I’ve noticed is that it sometimes resets if the unit is tapped or set down on a surface, which can be a little frustrating. It's easy to use, accurate, and a gem to handle while you work. Runs on two AAA batteries and makes tough tape measuring tasks a breeze. For close range work, like measuring the inside dimensions of a closet, I set the accuracy to 1/32 inch. For long range work, like building a 50-foot cedar fence, I set the accuracy to 1/4" for quick accurate measurements. Having used mechanical tape measures my entire life, (minus 5 years) I finally decided to go digital. Accuracy on this unit is exceptional, measurement options offer a great variety, simple layout and it works. Plus its a Bosch, they are just made well and last. There are many other units out there with various bells and whistles, but I just needed a unit that measured accurately and I could use by myself. This is it. pretty good overall. I bought a cheapo random brand one a long time ago which broke pretty quickly. I wanted to buy a more reputable brand one this go around and overall, I am happy with it. I wish it could change from doing a feet/in measurement to just all inches. It would definitely make it a bit easier instead of having to do the conversions separately. I do also wish it would tell you if it's rounding up or down too. Otherwise, this device is solid. I used this to measure my windows for an interior shade mount install. made the process so much easier and all the shades fit like a glove. ... show more

Good: Accurate. Amazing that it can time a laser with this much accuracy, but it does. Dead on perfect vs. a yardstick. Discovered I'm 1/4" taller than I thought I was. Easy to use despite only two buttons. Battery life appears to be good since I'm still on the first pair despite all my playing around (and some serious work.) Bad: Beam is a bit weak. If you're going to measure distances anywhere near the advertised 100' range, make sure you do it at dusk. Enclosed pamphlet has tons of info re not looking into a laser beam that won't hurt you, but to learn how to actually USE the thing you have to go online and download a PDF...that contains one page of useful info. Blow the extra penny on paper instructions, Bosch. Bottom line: I bought this to measure the rooms in my house and the size of the lot it sits on. An awkward two-person job with a tape measure, effortless with this gadget. Just don't expect to measure over 50' or so outdoors with the sun out. Five stars. Bottom line: ... show more
