  • Great replacement for my Zgrill
Size: 456 SQ.IN
We bought our original pellet grill in 2014, and it was finally time for a replacement. I found this pellet smoker which has a similar cooking size as our Zgrill. I like this one better as it is not as tall and does not have the smoke stack on the side. I've used it a few times and everything works as expected. I do like the probe sensors. Only one was included even though there are 2 probes. This grill works very similar to the other one we had and heats up about the same time period and cooks very evenly. Happy with this purchase and easy to use. ... show more

  • Fantastic product
Size: 456 SQ.IN
Great little smoker! Good investment! It was very simple to set up when it arrived. It’s easy to navigate how to use it. I’ve smoked multiple things in it now and everything turns out great! It’s easy to clean, perfect size for our patio since we have a small backyard patio. It’s holding up great through the seasons. ... show more

  • accurate temps and good holding temperature if you learn how to play with the exposure of the flame.
Size: 456 SQ.IN
Very happy that the start up is different than my larger pit boss. My 810 feeds a nice party of attendance with ease or handles my larger batches of jerky, ect but the smaller is more efficient from a pellet perspective to feed my family of four. Sometimes it feels a smidge cramped, but plug it in/hit the power button and with the lid close set temp and wait. The larger version must be left open and closed after the white smoke evacuates. The hopper is of course smaller which feels like a drawback but the pros are that you're not heating unused space, it gets the whole grill to temp quicker and if your a redneck like me who acts high class by swapping pellets intermentently - way easier with less to either remove or simply cook thru. But I generally have no problem getting three meals out of it unless I go high temp on something to really chart with like a 500 it's not an ideal smoker but it can smoke smaller items especially fish pretty easily and if you really need more pellets you can get the extender that makes it closer to the 810 size hopper. I cook for my smaller family more often than I have large parties I'm very pleased with having both grills as the option. Quite honestly when big events happen like massive graduations or just other occasions that bring in real amounts of family I can run them both no problem at all it's not like it's an energy hog or a heat problem you can keep both of them pretty close to walls and such as long as you follow the rules and the manufacturing directions. There's also two ports in the front mine didn't come with the thermometers but the broiler grill cover underneath the grate only opens up on one side which really helps to cook different thicknesses of meats the way you want or you can really make sure on the opposite side of the grill where it is going to be colder just to lower tab you can't avoid it with that thermometer plugged in it broadcast on the screen and you know as long as the grill is close enough to the door you can literally just look out the window and see where things are at without having to use some fancy Bluetooth device which I like and also have a couple of but that's not the point here. Good price especially with the efficiency that it affords on the pellets cuz I'm not seeing anything yet cheaper these days. It's very sturdy so I expected to be durable over a long period of time I'm pretty sure the one I bought included the cover it's worth it don't ever buy a grill without the intention of getting a cover for these types of grills cuz you'll short things out you accidentally do that having a second girls also a great thing. My only complaint is I had to self make out of aluminum foil so it was easy kind of a drafting limiter there's no smoke stack like the bigger ones and it just has four or five big holes on the not big holes but reasonable size quarter holes on the back and if you want to slow the smoking down you have to find a way to rig a cover on it but there's a lip there and it's pretty easy to hang foil or even ball it up and put it in the hole I made mind where I could slide it back and forth and control the air flow during the cook also. Happy grilling I hope you enjoy your summer too! ... show more

  • What you should know
Size: 565 SQ.IN
This turned out to be a good grill, It was a bit of a challenge putting together, on leg did not have the nutserts installed, so I had to correct that issue before I could complete the assembly process. You need to make sure the grill is thoroughly cleaned after each use or you may get a fault on the feeder control. Otherwise it cooks evenly and is easy to use. ... show more

  • Nice small Smoker
Size: 456 SQ.IN
I got this Smoker for my man for Christmas and he just put it together this past weekend ( May). As others noted , it was not the easiest directions to read but he managed and we had ribs that turned out delicious. Be informed: the smoker is not very tall, and while it is perfect for the two of us, the rack is rather small. You will need to order a cover for the grill. It looks great and made some tasty ribs. ... show more

  • Too small!
Size: 565 SQ.IN
The cooking area is small. Both in height and square inches. Forget about doing beer can chickens. That is a no go unless the chicken is very small. The instructions to assemble are poor at best, but doable for someone with moderate abilities. The instructions are obviously written by Chinese AI. The print couldn't be much smaller. The cooking performance has been ok so far, but that is from a limited sample. I recommend you look elsewhere for a pellet grill. ... show more
