abunda_amazon_reviews I love the concept but at 5'2 this bike is not made for me. Very uncomfortable to use. When my leg is all the way down on the pedal I'm on my tip toe. The seat is also too big. If I sit completely up I'm barely touching the pedal when down. Hurts my butt and thighs after about 10 minutes of use.;;January 8, 2019;;2.0 out of 5 stars;;Not made for short people;;shortiedowoop;;;This is a great concept and would work as is with a small laptop or tablet. I need multiple monitors for my job so I removed the desk and support bar and just pulled the bike up to a standing desk. It works perfect and the desk is actually a good support to hold onto while getting on and off the bike. I removed the handle bars under the seat because they were not useful to me and made it a little harder for the bike to get on. This bike is silent!! I am on conference calls all day long and nobody has ever heard it. It has very smooth motion and has a great range of resistance. I’m only on level 2 and am using it several hours a day. The arm attachment is a nice added bonus. Overall I a very pleased with this bike and would recommend it to others. I would have given it 5 stars had the desk component been sturdier and a little bigger.;;February 17, 2019;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Super quiet bike works great with a stand up desk.;;Awill8128;;;(Riding this as I write. I think I'll name it 'Smokey' after my childhood horse.) This thing is great! First, it arrived a day early. It was extremely well packaged, with tons of styrofoam pieces and cardboard spacers keeping the peces stable in the box. It wasn't in as many pieces as I'd expected. It came mostly in sections, not a zillion little separate parts. My son put it together for me in an hour or less, and said it was uncomplicated and very doable. Moved it into my home office and away I went. My laptop fits beautifully, and I like the little stopper/lip that holds it at the bottom or the table. The extra strap is a nice safety feature, although it's not needed to hold the computer in place. This is a nice looking and substantially built machine. I have it on a carpeted floor, and it's very stable. It's not just quiet, it's completely silent. I am amazed how smoothly the pedals turn. It's very nicely adjustable, so the seat can be as high or low as you need it (unless you're super tall or super short), and the table can be as near or as far from you as you want it. The arms of the strength bars can be tucked away by putting them straight down, or adjusted in any angle you want for use, and the resistance cords can be used at three different levels. You know how instruction and use manuals are always almost useless? Well, this one is the opporite of that. It's in large print and in clear, accurate, detaile English, with great schematic drawings and part numbers of every single piece, a full listing of every single part and its number. There are tons of drawing of the machine in all the positions, all the settings options, etc. There's a warm up and cool down exercises page, with drawings. And a coaster comes with the machine to go town in the cup holder. But- the coaster has another purpose, too. The box that the Wirks machine comes in has this weird set of big lines and numbers on it that seem odd- until you read in the manual that they're a part of the 'Coaster Toss' game where you stand on one side of the room and 'frizbee fling' the coaster onto the box to score points, base on which numbered section it lands in. Just too funny! These guys win my lifetime award for great packaging, customer engagement, and manual writing. Here are the cons I see, and none are a big deal. The hand holds on the side don't adjust in and out, so a person with a really large bum would need to remove them. I'm not huge, and they're each less than a finger's-width from my outer thighs. The other con is that the seat isn't the most comforable in the world. I'd like to see Wirk make a gel seat that fits over this one, that could be purchased separately. Since they don't, I'll probably buy one that's as close to a fit is can be found. One small cosmetic plastic piece was broken, but I'm sure the company will send a new one right away, and we'll just pop it on. A cup holder that hangs off the side rather than being built in would be a design improvement, but if you scoot your computer to the right a bit, it's still usable, sort of. Staminal Products switching to biodegradable packing material would be a very earth-ethical thing to do. Wish list: A super deluxe version of this bike (which I'd happyily pay a bit more for) would include: seat that slides forward and backward, seat that adjusts to higher setting for longer legged people, desk top that raises higher for tall people like us, adjustable seat back (although this one is at a pretty good angle), a good gel seat add-on for more comfort that would allow for more extended use per workout, and attached AC cord and built-in outlet so it would be easier to plug in electronic devices for workouts. I'm 60+ and my 29 year old son agree that this is an asset that we'll enjoy using for a long time. This is one exercise machine that won't end up dust-covered in a garage or sold in a yard sale... unless Stamina Products releases that Deluex model that's on my wish list. Maybe they'll give me one. lol Thanks, Stamina Products.
