Love this light! It turns on and off with a gentle touch of the on/off button. I hesitate to call it a button as it's not raised and you don't have to make it "click," just touch it. Touch it again to cycle through the different brightness levels. There's 3 total. The picture is me holding the light inside a dark closet to show how well it works. The two magnets are strong and hold the light well but you can easily detach it when it needs to be recharged. One charge will last hours. The mount installed easily and cleanly. I love that you can place it exactly where you need it without regard for an electrical outlet. When you need to charge it, just remove the light part and re-charge. Super Easy! I'm sure this will work great on artwork. But I'm using it to light up the space where my sewing machine is. It's perfect for that. My machine is not by a window, unfortunately, so I don't have the brightest spot for it. This lamp remedies that beautifully. Super happy with this! ... show more

I got this for lighting in my booth at night craft shows. This incredibly bright and they last many many hours. The light bar is nice and big, the magnets are strong, and the touch sensor is nice and sensitive. The remote is pretty good but you have to be kind of close to use it. I absolutely love this light. Very simple and straightforward to install, and easy to just pull off the magnetic base when you need to charge it---which isn't often at all. Very glad it uses USB-C instead of awful micro USB which is still far too common for my liking. The ability to have long lasting lights like this without needing to run power to them is a gamechanger. It tilts up and down easily and you can even change the color temperature and brightness on the light itself without needing the remote. The spill of the light is perfect. First the good stuff: easy to install, attractive, good light, flexible options (color temperature, brightness, timer, easily removable for charging). All 5-star stuff. Now, the not so good. See photos. This unit, when mounted, is crooked! There is no way to adjust the mounting bracket (welded in place). Fortunately, the light bar is held in place by magnets (so it is removable for charging) and allows some wiggle room to attach it cockeyed to the bracket, so it appears “square to the world” above the picture (or whatever is being illuminated). I did not spend my hard-earned money so I could jury rig something to work! This is one star stuff. I will give this only three stars and I cannot recommend this based on inadequate quality control. ... show more

I like this light a lot. The light bar part that you recharge attaches to the mount via magnets. So if its dead, you just pull the light off and plug it in with USB C . Nice and easy The mounting plate is screwed into the base, so its easy to remove the mounting plate, mark your screw holes, and screw it back onto the mount. Easy as could be. The only grip I have is that the magnets holding the light on could be a little stronger, if you bump it or shake it during install, it will fall off pretty easily.
