I have two dogs and two cats and bought this motion detector so I’d know when one of them went downstairs to my finished basement. It works perfectly. I had to put it close to the ground to be sure it reacted to them. (It sees me too.). The two-sided tape doesn’t hold it to the baseboard (probably because one of my cats would swat at it) and I didn’t want to put holes there so used some better quality tape. Works Great . You have to be careful not to unpair it by mistake. If you do, turn sensor on, and hold the power button a few seconds Until it makes a sound. 👍
