This doorbell camera works great!! I had purchased a Vivant Doorbell camera pro that constantly went offline. I was constantly having to reboot either the camera or the skyhub. I notified Vivant MULTIPLE times and they couldn’t fix the issue. They sent a tech out who basically said just keep rebooting the camera. It sucked! I ordered the Nest doorbell and my husband installed it with no issue. It has worked seamlessly with no connectivity issues. Don’t waste your money on any other doorbell camera. They do offer a subscription to a paid online service that may work with both of this nest doorbells I've purchased, wired and wireless but I'm not going to dive in deeper until they get things worked out with their app ... show more

My girlfriend bought me this for Christmas of 2023 and I put it in my house and it works great. It’s actually kind of fun. I was recently touring the Caribbean, and in every island I went to. I was able to check on my front door every time somebody walked up to deliver something. I mean we got along with these things for many years but it is a great security system I believe. I have cameras all throughout my house and the front door doorbell and I definitely feel much more secure knowing my house is supervised by me when I’m not there. ... show more

We couldn't get the wired at our new house so we had to resort to the battery. THE NEST DOORBELL (BATTERY) DOES NOT CONNECT WITH THE NEST APP. We have the nest thermostat and at our previous location we had the wired NEST doorbell and it was in the NEST app. Super convenient. Could get custom notifications, sounds etc... one app for all NEST. Now I have to open a separate app for the doorbell. The home app is not as intuitive or easy to use as the nest app WHY DOES THE NEST DOORBELL NOT CONNECT TO THE NEST APP this is absolute madness. ... show more
