This was exactly what we needed... Too frequently, we had a visitor at the door and we couldn't here them knocking on the screen or the wall; we had one delivery guy damage the skin on the knuckles on his hand, when he was attempting to knock loud enough to be heard. Unfortunately though, we live in an apartment, an older one that has no doorbells; not only would having one wired in be very costly (I'm disabled and my 6 y/o son isn't capable, so it would have to be hired off to a pro), but my landlord said that we would have to pay for it, and that it would have to stay with the apartment (not unreasonable considering). I'm so glad we asked him about a doorbell though, he was the one who enlightened us on the existence of wireless doorbells like this one. This one is perfect for us. The 2-sided tape worked fine to stick the button on to the security screen door (the wall is stucco, and I've never been able to get anything to stick to stucco without a large amount of high quality epoxy, the permanent kind that gets hard as a rock), I might figure out something a little more secure than the 2 sided tape later, but for now it's holding fine and has gone through 3 major storms so far. The receivers are also perfect for our needs. They're not battery powered, they plug right into the outlet on the wall, and need nothing more than the prongs on the outlet to hold them up. I have one plugged in centrally between the kitchen and living room, and one in my bedroom, and the bedroom one, I grab when were heading into the backyard (the access to which is a sliding door in my bedroom) and I plug it in, in the back yard while we're back there, so we can hear it unmistakabley if someone should come to the front door, which is very important for us, since we spend at least 60% of our day in the back yard. The signal has no issues making it through the metal screen door and through the walls to get to the receiver out back. The 52 different ringtones to choose from are pretty cool, but it does reset to default every time it's unplugged, which puts it at its loudest setting, and back at ringtone #1, which is just the standard universal "Ding-Dong". Also, the blue ring on the unit only lights up when the button is pressed, which I demonstrated in the 2 photos I added; I suppose that this might be a slight energy saving feature, but I'd rather have to change to battery in the button more often, and have my guests at night be able to readily identify the button. That's just about the only thing that could improve the unit from the way it comes, either by having the light on the button stay lit at night, and just get brighter when pressed, or perhaps have the button itself lit up at night, or glow in the dark.

I recently moved into a new place as my old apartment building caught on fire. Long story short, the new apartment where I'm currently staying in is on the 8th floor but the building does not have a bell system in place. Everyone must go directly to the door and knock. I opted for this because I can have one receiver in the living room/kitchen & one all the way in my room. The walls are made of fireproof concrete. With all doors shut it still manages to receive the signal in my room. (It's a 3 bedroom apartment and my room is the last one to the left starting from the front door.) I love this because it means I'll never miss a package or guest because I have one situated in my room and the other near where my mother & brother would otherwise be. The receivers are loud enough which is great. Also having the option to change the chime 'song' is great if you don't like the stock first one it uses. I also love the fact that the only part that requires any battery replacement is the chime button itself. I have mine setup on the outter side of the doorway with double-sided tape, (yes it still manages to penetrate a fire-resistant door). It works just as described and it's an extremely easy system to setup. Just place the button wherever you want. Then setup the receivers wherever you'd like as well that you have a place to plug it in to a wall.

The order arrived two days earlier. This doorbell is easy to install. It is literally a plug, screw, and voila! Mounting the transmitter with the screws is a cinch and took less than a minute!! I used a tiny Phillips screwdriver to pierce the plastic with minimal pressure then screwed in the screws with a regular size Phillips screw driver. I did not use the anchors. I was able to use the screws from my old doorbell and one existing hole to mount the transmitter. I had to make a new hole for the second screw. The black transmitter looks great on my white door jamb. I have one receiver in the first floor hallway and the second receiver is located in the basement. The doorbell can be heard on all three levels of my 5,500+ square feet home. The first 3 melody tones are that of a standard doorbell melodies. The other 49 melodies are popular songs. You have many to choose from but it takes a few minutes to go through them all. When you unplug the receiver and plug it back in, it defaults back to the first melody. So know that if your power goes out or if you unplug the receiver, you will lose your set melody. I'm happy to know that I will always know when someone is at my door and my guests will not be left standing on the porch waiting for me to answer the door! I hope this review with pictures is helpful. Great job Sado!! This is an excellent product at a reasonable price! Thank you!!! I wish I had found this product sooner!! I've spent some money on solutions that didn't work.

I purchased this doorbell as I really enjoyed that it had so many different ring tones. And after attaching the button to the previous doorbell button location with a screw and double sided tape I began playing with it. I plugged the two receivers into a nearby outlet and began pushing the button to cycle through the different ringtones. When I then went to test it by pressing the doorbell I noticed it was still going with the original tone. That is when I went back to the instructions and noticed the part about syncing the button to the receiver. I thought that was not needed as the doorbell was working out of the box. That is when I noticed where i had to hold down the volume button then I had 5 seconds to reach the doorbell and press it to sync it. Since I had already mounted the doorbell this meant I had to plug it in as close to the door as possible and race over to press the button. And by the sounds of it, if I want to change the ring tones I will have to do this every time. I thought I could just change the ringtone at the receiver at will by just pressing a button. My previous WiFi doorbell which mind you only had like 12 tones allowed me to do that. PROS: 1. Easy to setup 2. Inexpensive 3. Many tones to choose from CONS 1. You need to sync the doorbell to receiver anytime you want to change a ringtone(unless I am missing something) 2. You have 5 seconds to pair the receiver to the doorbell and need to do so with each receive. 3. Some of the doorbell chimes are very tinny sounding(of course the receiver has a pretty small speaker which may be part of the issue) 4. Seems like most of the chimes are too short and you may not hear them unless the person holds down the button. And the ones that are longer, also seem to be WAY too long. All in all, this is a good product to replace a doorbell that has gone out on you with not too much hassle.

I read quite a bit of reviews before settling on this wireless doorbell. I received it yesterday on time and in new condition. It looks just like the pictures shown. Reviews are correct that the product, although packaged well, does not come with directions. I had to search videos online to learn how to sync the ringtone (find the chime you like then hold the volume and chime buttons down on the receiver at the same time to sync it to the push button and your done). If you don’t do this, you will have the one reviewer’s problem that it only plays the first doorbell sound. I was able to program a different chime for each receiver with ease and in seconds. I bought the kit that had 2 receivers and 1 push button (with all the reviews, I anticipate 1 receiver going bad so for a few bucks more I bought this package which also came with a battery). The highest volume selection is super loud which is great if needed. Of coarse, the louder the volume selection, the more muffled the sound. I set it at the lowest volume selection and the sound quality is good for my purpose. Based on all the reviews, I will be curious to see how long the product lasts. Super happy with product on day 1! Will update in a few months.

Highly recommend these. I purchased 3 of these. I use one for my home and one for my classroom when people are at the door and the other with a different chime for transition shifts. I absolutely love them. So easy to use and very simple to install and set up. And there are so many tone options some have a long or short duration some of them are louder or softer in there a few tunes to choose from as well. For sure worth the buy.

we just moved into a newly constructed house with 3 floors. the door bell chime is installed right next to the front door and there is no way we could hear it if we were in shower or on 3rd floor media room. infact the chime volume is so feeble, we couldn't hear it sometimes when the cooking range's vent was on. No more. This product is a perfect solution for our problem. 4 level of volumes, but because the receivers are electric powered, the loudest is really loud! both the receivers chime synchronously even if they are two floors apart with several obstacles in between. Several ring tones to select from, but I find most of them silly. The standard ones are what you would choose from. Haven't found the doorbell interfering with any other radiowaves - microwave, wifi, cordless phones, baby monitor, zwave switches, etc. Got a black one with blue light. Easy to install and a great product. Love it.
