This light was somewhat disappointing, but perhaps my expectations were too high. I was hoping for something that would mimic gradual warm sunlight to make it easier to get up on dark winter mornings. To just have some ambient light without having to switch on my nightstand lamp. Instead, the light is BRIGHT cool white, which I found jarring. I almost returned it, but was able to make it work by putting it behind the TV on my dresser, which made it tolerable. Although it does have settings for different colors and dimming, those are only for the nightlight/sleep feature. The wake up light is only this very bright white. I also wish there were options to keep the light on longer, since sometimes I find myself lingering in bed when the light suddenly goes off, and then the room is pitch black again- exactly what I wanted to avoid! But it will only stay on 10 minutes past your scheduled wake time, and I don't want to push that too late, in case I do get up earlier like I always intend to. Overall it's OK.

I love that you can switch colors depending on the mood. The alarm sound is another big win! it’s gentle and not one of those horrible sounds that make you jump out of bed. The RGB color mode is awesome – lots of shades, smooth transitions, and you can dim it way down for a soft night light or turn it up bright enough to read in bed. It makes the whole room feel cozy and relaxing, especially with the slow color cycling on at night. The sunrise feature is the real star, though. It starts off super dim and gradually gets brighter before my alarm time, kind of like a real sunrise. Instead of my phone blasting me awake in a dark room, I’m already half awake from the light. I feel less groggy, less cranky, and it’s been especially nice on dark winter mornings. Waking up feels gentler and more natural.

I haven't had it long. I found it impossible to figure out how to set it. Not only are the instructions confusing but the type is tiny, probably 6 point at the most. Someone else set it for me, but it doesn't work as I thought it would. I don't recommend the gurgling stream alarm for people with incontinence issues, by the way. 😵 I had it set for dawn, but the light started 1/2 an hour earlier, the alarm started at dawn, went through 2 cycles... with exactly 4 different birds repeating the same few notes over and over. Then everything turned off, including the light. I just wanted a light that would turn on at dawn, gradually lighten to full daylight and stay on. I used to wake up at dawn, but now live in a basement apartment and I'm finding it very hard to regulate my sleep. This light hasn't helped yet. Also, it's smaller than I thought it would be, and I don't need all the extra light colors and alarms. After reading my own review, I realized that I probably bought the wrong product! 🤔 If those charged with vetting these reviews have any suggestions as to a product I might want, I would really love to know about it.
