The 26 inch Weber grille exceeded my expectations. Assembly is fairly easy. Just follow the instructions, take it slow and double check what parts need to go on in each step before moving on. Outstanding build quality! Assembly was fairly straightforward. As others have noted, it’s definitely a beast in size—but that’s exactly why I bought it. We have a large family, and I can easily cook for 12 to 14 people at once. Best of all, cleanup is much easier than any other grill I've owned. Absolutely love it! I love this grill! I am a die-hard charcoal fan, and gas grilling is just not the same. This is an extremely well-made grill. It is very solid (and heavy) and has a huge cooking capacity! The lift away feature of the cooking lid is really nice! And the built in thermometer is easy to read and accurate. The add on charcoal rails for indirect cooking are clever, and easy to store when not in use. The ash catcher is slick and easy to use, and much nicer than the dish that comes on less expensive models. The only downside of the grill is the 3-part multifunctional cooking grate. I think Weber got a little too clever with the removable inner trays that can be removed for inserting a pizza stone, griddle, dual-sided sear grate, or Dutch oven. If you are old school like me and only use the grate itself, it’s a bit annoying having to remove the 3 pieces and keep them all intact whenever you remove the grill for adding charcoal at startup. I have found I have to lie them on a flat surface of some type (I use an inexpensive plastic milk crate that works nicely) to keep them from falling apart. One other little issue is the small screws that attach the lift away feature to the grill get in the way of inserting the grill grate a bit, and putting the grill on over hot coals makes this just a bit challenging. Otherwise, I am very pleased with this grill! It is so nice not to have to cook in shifts for my large and ever-expanding family! ... show more

This is a great Weber Kettle barbecue that is 26" in diameter with plenty of room for all of your grilling needs it was delivered in a box the assembly was easy and it is very sturdy not wobbly at all. It also comes with a versatile grill and rack it stands higher than the 22" Weber grill so you will not have to stoop over and bend your back 46" in height compared to the 42" height of the 22" Weber Kettle don`t get me wrong I`m very happy with my 22" Weber Kettle but when grilling for a large group you can`t beat the grilling size area which makes your grilling experience pleasurable and fun the upper and lower vents help control the temperature throughout the grill In addition, the cleaning process is easy and not messy ... show more

Always wanted a BIG grill and I’ve got it!!! It’s badass and I put a venom temp regulator from spider grills on it and I’m in HEAVEN! But there something strange making the lid stick, and I’m talking it’s stuck I had to pry it up!!!! Anyway love to know what the hell that was but anyway killer grill

Ok; out of the box, this thing is huge! Way bigger than my 22” kettle. I didn’t think an increase of four inches in diameter would make such a difference but it certainly does. All the materials are heavier gauge than the 22”. The body is thicker steel, the grates are heavier, the wheels are a heavy molded plastic. There are more bolts for fastening and fewer spot welds. I was prepared to be underwhelmed thinking this was gonna be just a slightly bigger version of my smaller kettle, but this thing exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to grill on it! ... show more
