CONS -Legs feel flimsy -wheels look like cheap plastic -the wire rack below the kettle is almost useless for storing things since they fall through the mesh or off the side so easily -the removable center of the grill section prevents you from hanging the grill on a hook, since it will fall out, so you have to lay it flat somewhere when you remove it to light charcoal, and so whatever you put it on will get greasy -the two flip up sections of the grill, that allow you to place wood chips on the charcoal, are much too small to do much with, so if you have to access your charcoal while you're cooking, you need to remove the entire grill and lay it somewhere -there needs to be more hooks or some way to store spatulas, grill cleaners, etc. Basically you're going to need a table next to the grill when you use it -the grill doesn't rotate easily when you're cooking, like some grills do, which allow you to move food away from the charcoal easily and quickly, without having to pick it up with a spatula -a little challenging to assemble Pros -Green color looks really cool -Kettle seems well made -grill is very heavy duty (and somewhat heavy) - ash catcher works well -air flow vents are easy to use -the whole thing rolls easily Conclusion: maybe I'm being unrealistic, but for a classic design that's been around forever, and for $300, I expected this to be easier to use. On the excellent Youtube channel, "Guga Foods," he has a kettle grill that looks much easier to use. The entire grill rotates easily, letting him move food off the flame quickly and easily, and the two flip up sections are large, letting him access the charcoal without removing the entire grill from the kettle. I wish I'd bought that one instead.

After going through gas and pellet grills I came back to the simplest solution for grilling and smoking. There is noting one cannot do with a good Weber kettle.

I bought this from Amazon as it would arrive in time for a birthday and the fourth of July weekend. While it arrived on time, the cooking grill is not round, looks like a manufacturing defect, there is a "corner" bend on the outer rim that tends to rest on the grill support and is near one of the hinged grill sections causing it to not seat properly. While I contacted customer service and have another grate on order, I have not been able to us the grill and 6 days later, no shipping date. I should have bought locally, at least then I could have exchanged it and used it the same day, it's not like the price was any different...what happened to quality control?

It's a pity these are insufficiently packed from the factory because there's almost no way for them to be shipped without damage. Weber packed then in a flimsy single-ply cardboard box and there is minimal cardboard packing inside to prevent the parts from smashing around in the box... Mine came with the box already splitting open. The Kettle bottom was out of round preventing the lid from seating properly. There is nothing in the packaging preventing normal handling from doing this to the kettle. This is ridiculous that Weber allows these to be shipped this way. Also, the beautiful green color was very badly applied with the black showing through in many places, really poor paint quality... which is ridiculous with the up-charge for the special colors. You are better off finding one locally at your brick and mortar store and selecting one that is not beat up out of the box.

Do not order the spring green. It arrived and is not the color as shown in the product picture or in the previous review. I can’t return it because my friend spent two hours putting it together before I saw it. Now I have an ugly, light green, very dull looking $300 grill.
