My $600 pump went out again.....about once every 2 years.....JUST out of warranty!! I figured if this pump lasts a year or two, I'm money ahead since it's a quarter the cost of my old pump. I installed it a few days ago and it is working great. I have a 10,000 gallon pond with 3 waterfalls and it's working like a charm. Cord length is great, and longer than my old pump (not needed, but handy).

This pump worked good for four days. I woke up to it not running on the fifth day. I pulled it out to look at it. The shaft had come loose and the impellers had been grinding on cover. It seemed like a retainer in the pump body broke and allowed the shaft to pivot back and forth causing it to rub on the cover. It will still turn but it will not move water. I am submitting this review before I contact the company. I will submit an updated review after I deal with customer service. As of right now, I would absolutely recommend not buying this product. 4 days and it is useless. *UPDATE* 06/01/2022 Water Rebirth emailed me several times to offer a replacement. I contacted them and they sent me a new pump within a few days. If this one works, I would give them a 4 out of 5 because their customer service was great.

* Update: Seller reached out to remedy the issue, which I find to be quite honorable and restores faith in the product from a reassurancestandpoint, which I will test and update rating appropriately. Purchased in winter; waited for May to install in pond to retire my old pump, nearing it's end of life. Worked great for two weeks, then started intermittently cycling off at random time once a day, increasing, over the course of two weeks to once every 2-3hrs. Today it stopped completely; had to reinstall my 10 year old pump that this was supposed to replace! Past the 30 day Amazon warranty...wish I would have waited to purchase closer to when I knew I could install and find the problems; very frustrating!
