I took a while to leave this review because I really wanted to be honest about this product. A whole-house water softener is not a small or inexpensive upgrade, so I wanted to give it enough time to see whether it was truly worth the investment. After using it, I can confidently say I am very pleased with it! The difference in the water quality is noticeable. Showers feel better, dishes have fewer spots, and I’ve noticed less of the buildup that comes with hard water. It has been great having soft water throughout the entire house instead of dealing with hard water issues in different areas. I also really appreciate the smart features. The app and touchscreen make it easy to monitor the system, check settings, and keep track of maintenance without constantly having to think about it. The design is compact and well thought out, which makes it much easier to fit into a utility space. This was definitely an investment, but for us it has been one of those upgrades that makes everyday life better. If you’ve been debating whether a whole-house water softener is worth it, I can’t recommend this one enough!

I have been looking forward to this for a while as my city water is very hard. This product is less expensive than many similar softeners on the market. I elected to have it professionally installed as my current setup did not have a drain or bypass. The cost for my professional install was about $900 and took about a half of a day. The unboxing was uneventful and the unit was self explanatory. The control panel did easily pop out of place but it was easy to place back. Once install was complete we followed the directions to place salt and start the water flow. We did have one issue with startup. The control panel board was lose and it would lose power unless in perfect position. Once in position there is no reason it should move again so not too worried about it. We put in about 45 pounds of salt with plan to add more later just to the water line. This is to prevent salt clumping or residual clogging things. In programming the hardness level, it was not like other softeners where you enter the hardness number. You actually enter hardness in parts per million which is simply multiplying the hardness number by 17. Now after having it in for several days it has changed our water completely! It is so much softer. My plumber recommended manual regen after a few days which I am doing as I write this. My home typically has 2 to 4 people with hard city water. This machine seems perfect for that scale. Based on the cost for similar units I would recommend this. Make sure to buy hardness test strips to test before and after as well as once in a while to ensure the right settings. My body is so grateful after feeling the difference in the shower.

I installed this to replace an older water softener, and the setup was about what I'd expect for a whole-house system. Once it was running, the touchscreen made it easy to check settings without digging through a complicated menu. The WiFi connection was a nice bonus. Being able to check the system from the app and get reminders when the salt level is getting low is more convenient than having to remember to check it myself. After it had been running for a while, the water felt noticeably softer. Soap rinsed more easily, and hard water spots were less noticeable than before. It's definitely a more modern take on a traditional water softener. Between the touchscreen, app support, and maintenance reminders, it takes some of the guesswork out of keeping the system running.

This was the second unit that I ordered and came with broken parts because of the bad packaging from the manufacturer, there is not way to contact the seller to ask questions about the installation,It doesn’t support WIFI only Bluetooth connectivity, part of the setup menu is locked with a password that doesn’t come in the manual or anywhere else that I could find, Amazon customer support doesn’t have any information on the seller or how to contact them directly either. If anyone here have a way to contact them please share that information with us, because I know that I’m not the only buyer that had and have problems with this product.

This water softener has been a really nice upgrade for our home. I love being able to check the system through the WiFi app, and the touchscreen makes everything easy to understand and adjust. The salt level reminder is especially helpful because I don’t have to constantly remember to check it myself. The system runs quietly, and I’ve noticed a difference in the water quality around the house. This is clearly a budget-priced unit, but the build quality is better than I expected. It feels solid, and after installation it softened the water exactly as it should. In my small home I didn't notice any drop in water pressure. I had a plumber install it, and he said the installation was completely straightforward. His opinion was that it's a good value for the money, though probably not something he'd choose over his preferred brands for every installation. Overall, if you're looking for an affordable whole-house softener and don't mind buying outside the major brands, this has been a solid performer so far.

This is an excellent deal on a whole house water softener. When I bought a house in the country 13 years ago, it came with a Culligan silver series water softener to help combat the mineral content (especially iron) in the well water. While the Culligan did a descent job of filtering my water, it came at a price. First of all, it required a resin tank AND a brine tank. Both of which took up a lot of space in my cramped utility room. Secondly, when it would go into regen mode (to clean the resin), it used so much water that it would overflow my septic tank into the backyard. This unit, by Camenae, has eliminated BOTH issues my Culligan had at nearly an 85% savings! I was able to throw away my Culligan and install this one for less than what the "Cullgan Man" wanted just to troubleshoot my old water softener. It was very easy to install in place of my old unit. Of course, installation will be a little bit more involved if you've never had one plumbed into your house before. Overall, I'm very happy with my new water softener. I especially appreciate its small footprint. Not only has this unit saved me a great deal on space, but it's also saved a significant amount from my bank account as well. It even uses less salt per month compared to my old softener. Durability will require the test of time, but I expect it to last me several years of hard service. With no negatives to mention, I'm giving this water softener a solid 5 stars.
