1.How to connect to phone? There are two Methods to transfer data to the USB memory stick due to the different Android phones. Method 1: 1.Plug usb c falsh drive into your Android phone, check the top of Android phone for the USB symbol, it says “USB storage” connected. Go to "My Files" to select the pictures, videos or audios you will see your files there. 2.Click on “Copy” or “Move” by breaking down menu on the top right corner, then go to the folder you want to move your files to. At the top/bottom you will see 'Paste Here', once you do that, your files will be copied or moved to that folder. 3.Glide your finger downward on the phone's home screen to display the notifications panel to back to the “General USB Drive” to eject or uninstall the usb drive. Method 2: 1.Connect the USB Memory Stick to your Android phone, and glide your finger downward on the phone's home screen to display the notifications panel. 2.Tap the information as "General USB Drive", “USB storage” or “OTG” alert, you will see some existing folders. 3.Click the folder to open the files, choose the files to “copy to” or “move to” the folder you want to. This is a solid, straight forward USB 3.0 thumb drive with nice extra features. On one ends is a standard USB A, aka, the big rectangle that can be plugged into any PC. The drive shows up instantly and is very quick to read and write. I wrote 60 gigs of files as a backup and the transfer rate was a 40 to 50mb/second; I was very happy with that. As for extra features, on the other side, when you open the cap, is a USB-C connector. This is great since you can (and I did) plug the drive into my phone and is works as extra drive, very handy, especially when you want to copy large files on and off your device. I didn’t use it, but they also included a Micro B adapter, so if you have an older phone that uses the micro connector, you are not left out. In the end, it is handy, fast, and even runs cooler than most thumb drives I have used and runs at true USB 3 speeds. ... show more

This is so much easier than using a cord! When I would hit the cord, I'd lose the connection and have to start over. With this, I can just transfer anything without worrying about knocking the cord and then put it on my computer (or anybody else's) when I have time. Wrong description - does not fit Samsung Galaxy S8+ phone, as it claims to. Misleading. Be careful buying it. It is too late for me to return as I already uploaded stuff from my computer. Will have to buy another one for the phone. Wasted money on this.

Do not buy this product! The price is its most attractive feature but the drive will fail in less than 50days. I've bought 3 now over the course of a year through my job and they ALL fail with bad usb ports causing electrical shorts. The data transfer is average at best then drops to a crawl once the flash drive has some normal use on it. ... show more
