Two person assembly suggested. Helmet and full face protect is a must as once the limbs are grabbed by the chipper, they are pulled in quickly. Very little control as to where the chips fly. I tried using the bed of my pickup but the chips went up and over the cab. It is a strong machine that will do 3-4” limbs easily, a 6” limb will slow if not stop the cutter. Expensive but worth the price if it lasts . I have about 5 hours of use on it as of this review … and gave it 5 stars. First oil change is due/recommended for the break in period Contact the seller for delivery. I needed tailgate lift delivery, as I do not have a forklift to unload the crate

Water using it for about 5 hours I changed the oil and started to use it a few days later and it was fine for about 30 minutes then it died and will not start now.

The media could not be loaded. We were doubtful if it would be useful in our operations but after working with it the first time those doubts are gone. It easily shreds 3 inch branches. We tested up until about 4 inches. In my opinion it's a high quality build. Get the version that has an electric starter.

This model is capable of 4" limbs from soft woods. If you have harder woods (ash, oak, maple) expect a MAX of 2.5 inches in diameter and it will jam if you arent careful. The hitch is handy, but the mount bracket is inferior. Resting on the tongue and having the slightest bit of downward pressure will bend the bracket. This chipper quality is at the bottom end of a commercial unit. If you need something for large acreage like i do (10+ acre maintenance), go bigger.

Works well handles 4in no problem struggles with larger but will do it. Make sure infeed shoot is empty prior to starting otherwise drum jambs. Rotating shoot is handy. Make sure you check all bolts after 1st short usage. Muffler, directional shoot and indeed shoot all worked loose.
