This clock is perfect for my needs. It's small, yet easy to read across the room. The font of the numbers looks nice, but without being too fancy to easily read. Some people have complained about the lack of a frame, but I think the simplicity of this clock looks way nicer than ones with a frame, which just look cheap to me. So I bought this clock with out really looking at the size because in the pic it looked like the size I was looking for. It was way to small for the area I originally bought it for but it is so cute I found a different area in my house to put it. It is very quiet and it does take one AA battery that is not included. The clocked is 8" . I think the wooden hour and minutes really stand out. It is adorable if you have a smaller place for it.

Replacing an old clock that ticked. This new clock is indeed totally silent. However, it has no second hand, which seemed to be what might have caused the older clock to tick over time? I sort of miss the second hand, but not enough to put up with ticking. It did take a few years before old clock started ticking. There are no minute graduation markings, so not very good for the kitchen if you need to quickly see accurate minutes. It is also a tad smaller than what we were used to, but it is still easy to see and read from a distance. A simple plain black on white design. Since this is in our kitchen, and viewed from other rooms as well, will most likely replace with a clock that has minute graduations.

Ok, nothing fancy about this clock. It comes exactly as advertised; white with black numbers and wood shade hands. The simplicity of this clock makes it suitable for any room in the home. We used ours for the living room. It's also very quiet, no annoying ticking of any sort. Note, too, that it came packaged well, so overall, this is a winner!

I was in desperate need of a clock for my living room, so I felt like it was a godsend when this popped up for me. It's absolutely silent, and has no seconds hand, getting rid of that unnecessary ticks. It requires a AA battery, so make sure you have one on hand, either rechargeable or any other basic battery (amazon has their own brand, similar to Costco). The battery is a little difficult to put in/out, but once it's in, you can easily twist the dial to the proper time and voila! The clock is smaller at 8 inches, but it's also what I liked about it. It fits perfectly between in my wall section between the door and bar window.

We were looking for a simple, quiet wall clock that we could place in our guest bedroom and the Daxsmy fit the bill perfectly. It has a flat white face with easy to read numbers that stands off from the wall about an inch. It uses a single AA battery (not included) to run. Setting is accomplished by a spin knob on the back mechanism. It is very quiet and seems to keep time well. A simple, quiet wall clock for any room.

So I needed a small wall clock for a small bathroom and this is just the right size. I have two major problems with this clock - even though it does keep accurate time. The image makes it appear that it has a white clock face with a white frame. There is no frame on this clock- it’s only the clock face. And perhaps more important, the actual clock mechanism on the back is attached to the clock face on an angle. So when you try to attach it to the wall it doesn’t lay straight with the 12 in the right position. After working with it for a while, you can position it properly, but any bumps into the wall will cause it to shift and you will need to reposition it.
