I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes last year. I’m in my 20’s so it’s kinda scary. I work remotely and don’t get any activity since I have no incentive to leave home. I use to eat, sit, work, sleep same routine. Then I said, I would like one of these after a former manager said he had one. It’s really well crafted and can really get you going. So far I am loving this walking pad. After wanting one for a couple of years I finally broke down and bought one. After reading so many comments on multiple walking pads, I chose this one because of the width and length and that it has an incline if I want. I'm 5'2 and there is plenty of room for those who are wondering about the size. If you are taller than 5'5" or so, I would measure your stride to see if it would work for you. The operation is quiet and smooth. The remote is easy to use. Stopping and starting is very smooth so you don't get off balance. My mom, who will be 69 this year, uses this equipment 3 to 4 times a week. It is sturdy and well made but also lightweight and easy to maneuver. My mom, on her own, can break it down and store it under her bed until she is ready to use it. It's compact and doesn't take up a lot of room. It has a remote and safety bar, multiple speeds, is easy to adjust and my mom loves that it calculates not only distance but calories burned. This for me, was a perfect alternative to a full on treadmill. It is compact, has great incline and very sufficient speeds. I am 5'2 and use it perfectly insofar as stride length, etc. My husband is 5'9 and uses it fine as well. It came extremely well packaged and the best part, set-up was next to nothing. Not a bag with 500 screws and pieces. It was completely assembled. It is sturdy, seems well made, and does the job for someone like me who wants to be able to walk even if the weather outside is not optimal - I live in Arizona and summers are a tad warm.     • Ok, but not as great as I thought it would be

It's a lot shorter than I thought it was. I'm only 5ft and almost find myself walking off of it. Other than that it's quiet, but the bar isn't all that sturdy and you have to screw it in to have any sort of stability. Not as impressed as I thought I would be it's ok, not bad for the price.
