Top Amazon Reviews

  • Used as under standing desk treadmill
I've had this treadmill for about a week and so far I'm clocking about 6 miles a day on it. I'll update the review if durability appears to be a problem, but obviously too early to tell there right now. First a bit on my experience using a treadmill under a desk in general. I have only tried this one, so I can't say how it rates to others, but here are some thoughts on the idea generically. If you are like me, you have a standing desk and maybe found you weren't standing a whole lot with it because your legs get a bit sore from standing in one place. I considered a balance board, but found that a treadmill would be even better. I work from home full time, had some health challenges that caused me to stop working out for a year, and now want to get back into shape again. This treadmill for me has been a game changer in one week for fitness. I use it five days a week, and am adding 30 miles of activity per week to my routine. Effectively, it's roughly an extra 1lb of calories that I'm burning per week by having this thing vs what I was doing + the other benefits of walking / fitness. While walking on this treadmill at 2mph (my general speed), I can still type more or less at full speed. Using a mouse is a bit jittery and more difficult. It can be a bit jarring in meetings for people if you have video on (we have a video always on policy) so am selective about when I will use it while on video. Overall, I've found it really easy to stick with and do 3-6 sessions a day ranging from 30 minutes to 50 minutes (this treadmill powers down after 50 minutes, I'm not sure if it's just to cool the motor, but more or less I'm pretty much ready to stop after 50 minutes anyway). As for some specifics on this treadmill. It is super light and maneuverable. A big concern I had was moving it out of the way when I'm not using it. It has a couple wheels on the front, you lift it from the back and then you can easily move it with about the effort it takes to push a vacuum. This has made it really easy for me to just slide it to the side out of the way when I put my desk down for my chair. I would probably not find this treadmill useful for any purpose other than walking in front of a standing desk. The belt is narrow and the overall length is very short. It goes up to 5mph, but I can't even imagine trying to jog on this thing without killing myself because you just don't have enough room. I also think it'd be weird to walk on it in open space with no supports. The desk itself with the keyboard in front of me keeps me centered on the treadmill and in open space (like if you wanted to slide it under your bed and pull it out to watch TV) I think it would be difficult to stay on. If you want to do that, get one with a handle that folds up would be my advice. There are minor annoyances I've encountered so far. It takes 5 seconds to start after you hit the power button, and you have to increment speed with one button click from .5 to whatever speed you want at .1 mph increments. This is a fairly irrelevant but annoying user experience. I don't need that long of a window to start (really don't need one at all given it starts at .5 mph) and why do I want to click the remote 15x to get up to 2mph? That said, that whole process is still about 10 seconds long and not really relevant. From a noise perspective, this isn't any quieter or louder than any other treadmill I'd use at the same speed. It says it's quiet (as do many), but I doubt seriously any of them are meaningfully different in noise. This is the same sound my big / normal treadmill makes if I were to set it to 2mph. The sound isn't an issue though, and no one has complained about it while I'm on video conferences. All in all, is this better than any other walking pad treadmill? No idea, but it was among the cheapest and so far it's doing the job just fine for me. The annoyances / hiccups are irrelevant to my situation and the ability to move it out of the way easily is probably all that really matters. I've read other reviews about it not lasting long. I oiled the heck out of the belt and just figured I'd do that every week going forward. There aren't really a lot of parts here and I'd think the motor probably isn't being pressed that hard at 2mph, so my guess is it will probably hold up reasonably well, but only time will tell. There's nothing about it that feels obviously bad about it. One final note, Amazon offers assembly, there is nothing to assemble. It is in one piece out of the box, you literally plug it in and put oil under the belt, pull the sticker off the remote to connect the battery and go. ---- update 1 ---- I've had this for about 1 month. I'd say I have logged about 80 hours on it so far and everything is working well still. I am still doing about 3 hours a day at 2mph (weigh a shade over 200lbs). --- update 2 --- I've used this treadmill for about 3 months now, still about 3 hours a day at 2mph. I have been a bit lazier about oiling the belt than I intended (about once every 3 weeks) but this hasn't seemed to have any impact. No problems thus far with the treadmill. I wish I could see total miles that I've logged on it, but I would get it's probably about 500 total miles so far. Using this really kickstarted my step goal, I've now hit 20k steps a day every day with two exceptions since I purchased it. I've lost about 14 lbs overall, mostly in the first two months when my diet was also good, but this has allowed me to outexercise a lot of bad diet stuff. ... show more

  • Amazing treadmill…. Until it wasn’t - UPDATE REVIEW
UPDATE 8/8/2023 - As soon as i hit save on my review i swear the company reached out to me. Well.. not really, but it felt like it! They emailed me to offer a replacement that they would ship directly to me. I am very impressed by the level of service offered by this company! I have changed my review from one star to 5 stars based on the amazing customer service and their commitment to customer satisfaction. Original: I received my treadmill on June 1st and brought it to my office for daily use. It has been a GAME CHANGER. I use it daily M-F and average about 16,000 - 31,000 steps a day on a speed no faster than 2.3, with my usual speed kept at 1.7- 1.9. I AM OBSESSED. I love this treadmill SO MUCH. So imagine my disappointment when it started to make this weird noise early-mid July. The best way I can describe the noise is like something was rubbing up against what sounded like paper. I adjusted the belt, added oil.. everything that I was told to try. But it kept making the noise. So, as per instructions, I started adding more oil to the belt more frequently as I was using the treadmill so much. Maybe it just needed more attention than usual due to heavy use. Well, that “worked” (ish) for a while, but the noise would keep popping up requiring more adjustments. I didn’t mind taking it apart to oil everything because I still loved this treadmill! Fast forward to today I noticed a very strong burning plastic odor. The smell permeated the office causing alarm to others. I immediately stopped using the treadmill and unplugged it. The plastic cover of the motor was so hot you couldn’t even touch it. I let it sit for about 20 min till it was “cool enough” to open the case. Once open, you could tell that the belt was dangerously overheated to the point that you could feel the heat radiating off the motor and the smell was very overwhelming. Obviously this is now a fire hazard and unsafe to use. I did reach out to the vendor when the noise first started and they offered me a refund to my original payment telling me I could then buy another treadmill. But I am not so sure If I want to buy another one if it will have the same issues…. Wondering if anyone else has had the same type of issues??? Also, the remote control is the only way to turn the machine on and off. Which can be irritating if you lose it. So I suggest putting a TILE GPS sticker on the back for tracking if lost. Also, you cannot pause the machine. So if you need to hop off for a min you have to turn it off and start over. But these things are not deal breakers for me, just slightly irritating. ... show more

  • As described, cord a little short
The media could not be loaded. This is what the info says it is. It fits well in my space and works well. Obviously meant for walking, as described. It is a little awkward to move since the wheels on the front are small, but I can manage it pretty easily. Would estimate it at 30lbs. The remote works well, and the wrist strap is convenient. I do wish the cord was a little longer, as it limits the locations you can have it. Cord is 5ft long and three-pronged. Dimensions 47” long, 19” wide, 5” tall at the front. ... show more

  • Great walking pad
Great quality walking pad. You can easily use this no matter what age you are and what exercise level you are. There’s no assembly at all so it’s no hassle. There’s a remote that comes with it which makes it super easy to use and with it, you can adjust the speed.
