The first thing I noticed is that this walking pad feels very heavy duty and well made. It has a solid, sturdy feel to it, and based on that, I expect it to hold up well over time with regular use. Setup was very easy and straightforward, and using it does not feel complicated or finicky. I like that it folds up, which makes it easy for me to store it out of the way when I am not using it. Even though it feels sturdy, it is compact enough to fit under my standing desk, which works well for my space. It is also fairly quiet, which helps when I am working or watching TV and do not want a lot of background noise. The LED display is simple and easy to read, and it gives me the basic information I want without feeling cluttered. I also like having adjustable speeds and settings, along with the remote control, since it makes small changes easy while walking. Besides being super easy to use, there is a lot to love about this walking pad. First, it came completely assembled — all I needed to do was plug it in and remove the protective tab from the remote control. I would have been up and running very quickly but I kept tripping the GFCI where I had it plugged in so I had to relocate it to another location in my home. I currently have the walking pad stored under my living room sofa, after walking on it for almost an hour this morning (testing it at different speeds and learning the remote). It was easy to unplug, slightly tip up the back, and roll it to a spot where I could push it the rest of the way under the sofa. Here are some things I learned during my test run: You need to have the remote in your hand or in your pocket while operating. The remote is how you increase the speed (it starts at 1 kmph so you need the remote to go faster. You also use the remote to stop (or you can pull the safety plug). The remote gives you options of using one of the many preset workouts or doing what you’d like with the manual setting. The readout on the walking pad is large and very clear and alternates speed, distance, and calories burned. I noticed if I’m watching tv while walking that I lose my point of reference and I fear I’ll inadvertently fly off the back. At first I kept looking down, and then decided to pull over a bar stool and just rest my hand on it while I walked, so I could watch tv while working. This worked like a charm! The walking pad is very quiet, so I could watch tv at the normal volume level! This is a huge plus for me! Now for the one thing that surprised me. I had the pad set at 4.0 and felt like I was walking at an uncomfortably slow pace. It as almost hard for me to walk that slow. I was convinced that something was wrong with the treadmill, so I did a speed test on both the 4.0 and 5.0 speeds, only to learn that the measurements are in kilometers per hour, not miles per hour! So the fastest this goes is 5.0 kmph (or 3 mph). At 4.0 kmph, it’s 2.5 mph. The instructions claim a higher mph, which wasn’t correct in my case. These speeds are so slow for me, that I don’t really get a workout. However, I can still use it for those leisurely walks.

A fairly compact walking pad that lies flat and fits in small spaces in your home. It stays quiet and feels sturdy while you walk. The speed range is fine for light use though it does not go faster than a brisk jog if you wanted something more intensive. The treadmill is long enough to give you plenty of room for your stride without feeling cramped or having to worry about your posture too much. The display shows a variety of measurements including speed and time, which is handy for monitoring your current run. The remote is also simple to use and lets you change settings without stopping, which is especially important since it does not have any handles. The frame feels sturdy and the shock absorption helps soften each step. It is a very convenient way to keep yourself feeling healthier since it can just stow away as needed since it can easily fit under most pieces of furniture, like a couch. Overall, this walking pad works well if you want a quiet and compact option for keeping up on good health habits. It is a good pick for light movement without taking up much space.

The Walking Pad Under Desk Treadmill 3-in-1 Portable has a good concept and is easy to store, which is definitely a plus for small spaces. However, getting it lined up properly took forever, and it easily slips off track, which can be really frustrating. It also arrived with a cracked corner, and the clearance underneath is a bit tight — it rubs against my rug, making placement tricky. For light walking, it works once set up, but these issues make it less convenient than expected. Overall, an okay budget option, but be ready for some setup challenges and minor quality concerns.

Just what I was hoping for. I am a larger woman and many less expensive type treadmills have a low weight limit. I was drawn to this particular treadmill because it has a higher weight capacity. I have mobility issues due to severe arthritis in my feet, ankles, knees and hips so walking can be somewhat of an issue, thus the weight gain over the past few years. I've always loved walking, for miles at a time for enjoyment. Going to fairs, amusement parks, parks, malls and outlets were all part of my daily life. Once the arthritis hit life took a downward spiral. Now I can't get out much, so this was a great help in improving my situation. The treadmill is easy to use and not too heavy/bulky so that I can move it around without too much difficulty. I live alone, so this is important. As mentioned, I do have some mobility issues and can be a little unsteady on my feet, so I prefer to have a treadmill with armrest. Since this does not and in order to be sure that I don't lose my balance, I position it near my kitchen counter so that I have one hand to steady myself. Since this item is low cost (I'm on a fixed income) it could be an answer to many people in similar situations.
