The shampoo is fine, though I didn't find it helped much with the detangling/conditioning aspect - was still a challenge to brush him out. (German Shepherd mix). But he at least was cleaner. Suds up well, a little seems to go a long way, so easy to use and will last awhile on that front. I like that the ingredients are good, I think it's important to use natural and healthy ingredients (for both dog and human). I was re-ordering this shampoo for the second time and thought I’d leave a review. I have a large Labrador retriever and I bathe him myself once per month. I use a ridiculous amount of soap because it’s hard to get a lather. My dog has very thick fur that repels water and he’s a big dog. I buy the large size container and it lasts me a year. It’s a great price and aside from that, the vet’s office has commented on how good he smells and that’s weeks after he has had a bath. I don’t know that it smells like lavender, but I do think it’s relaxing because as I write this, he is snoring loudly beside me after having just received his monthly bath a few hours ago. I’ve been using this product on my seven-year-old Pomeranian mix dog for about 6 years now, and I’m thrilled with the results. The scent is not overpowering, just right. The quality is excellent, and I couldn’t be happier with the product. And you obviously cannot be the price.
