She didn’t seem irritated or uncomfortable at all, which honestly surprised me. The shampoo lathers up nicely without needing a ton, and it rinsed out pretty easily too. The biggest thing for me was the smell. A really clean without being overpowering or fake odor. After the bath, her coat felt super soft and she smelled great for days afterward and had a nice shine to it. I picked up the Wahl 4-in-1 Calming Dog Shampoo for my furry buddy, and wow — this stuff is amazing! First off, the lavender chamomile scent is so pleasant that even I enjoy bath time now (and trust me, I usually avoid it). The shampoo lathers up richly with just a small amount, so a little goes a long way — which makes it great for regular washes without feeling like you’re pouring product down the drain.  What really impressed me is how soft and smooth my dog’s coat feels after rinsing. It doesn’t just clean — it conditions, detangles, and moisturizes too. Even knots and tangles that used to take forever to brush out came out so much easier. And despite the calming fragrance, it’s gentle on his skin and doesn’t irritate, even after a long play session outdoors. We usually reach for the lavender version of this shampoo for our sweet dog, but we decided to try out the oatmeal one this time. We were hoping it might help soothe his skin a little bit, and it really did seem to help him feel more comfortable after his bath. It leaves his coat feeling super soft and looking so clean. The only tiny downside for us is that the fragrance is very subtle. It has a lovely mild scent, but it is just a bit too light to fully mask that classic doggy frito factory smell we all know so well. I recommend it. I have a Maltese and he doesn’t have any issues or reactions to this shampoo. The smell is pleasant. It’s very thick. I would get a soap foaming spray bottle. It will last you a couple months if you have a small dog. His skin isn’t dry and he doesn’t scratch a lot after his baths. It doesn’t help with detangling at all. Great for the price. My dogs smell amazing and a lot of product comes in the container. It’s a go to, especially because of the price. In store I found it to cost more. I also like how it’s all in one, it definitely helps if you have multiple dogs and hyper dogs who don’t like showering 😂
