The reason I rated this five stars. 1. The smell is subtle, and very pleasant. 2. Our puppy didn’t seem to be bothered by this product in any way. 3. Accurate label, no tears from our little guy. He almost seemed to enjoy his bath, almost, lol. 4. It lathered nicely, but not excessively. 5. It’s made by a company that has a trusted name, Arm & Hammer. That is meaningful to me. I try not to purchase off brands as I’m fearful of the potential for dangerous shortcuts. 6. It rinsed off completely, leaving no residue and very little, if any odor. 7. Easy access flip top spout opener. When bathing s puppy, you need eight hands, right? This product is very easy to open and close quickly in the middle of bathing your pup. However, I found that it doesn’t lather as well as I hoped, and it requires a bit more product to get my puppy fully clean.
