The printer driver is full featured and has all kind of settings to adjust margins, offsets, print darkness, and print speed. I slowed down the print speed and even my cheap labels print flawlessly and really dark. It was able to detect where the labels end and the next one starts. This works great to print low cost postage from shipsaving or pirateship, etc. The "bartender" software is only a trial so I didn't bother with it. It came with drivers on a free USB drive but I downloaded them off the internet instead. I bought the USB + bluetooth model. Setting up for USB isn't too bad, but the bluetooth had a lot of manual steps to first set up a bluetooth COM port, and you need to watch a youtube video. Blame Microsoft for that. USB printing is immediate but bluetooth printing takes about 20 seconds to send the label over first. Note: the bluetooth on this is insecure because anyone can connect to it and print labels. There isn't a PIN code do protect it from pairing. A prankster could use up all your labels and print things. So if you are a business I would recommend only buying the USB version. I would highly recommend this printer because it has internal storage for a roll of labels, OR it has pass-through if you really want to use fanfold labels. But the internal roll is best because it keeps the dust off of them if you don't print often, and it takes less desk space. ... show more

Prints very fast. Much more cost effective than buying labels from a printing company. It took a while to navigate the programming. I was able to link it to my phone. I printed off 1000 labels in less than 10 minutes!

I really like the printer. It prints clear labels. The only problem I had was getting it to print. I emailed the company and they responded right away. I followed the instructions and I still could not get it to print. I just played around with it for awhile and instead of picking the name of the printer to print I picked Label Printer and finally got it to work. If you purchase this printer and cannot get it to print try that. Once I got it to print I love it, it does a great job and prints labels very fast. I’m updating my review on this product. It worked really good at first. Then the print got to be so light you couldn’t read it. Then it just stopped working. I sent a couple of emails to the manufacturer and didn’t get a reply, so their customer service is terrible. Luckily I purchased the extra warranty and they refunded my money. ... show more

No more printing labels on 8.5x11, cutting/folding them, and wasting yards of packing tape just to ship out one item. This printer is a game changer for me and my partner’s small business. One word of caution: the instructions for installing the driver (at least on a Mac) weren’t super clear and it’s not an intuitive process unless you know what you’re doing, so some people may find this frustrating if they don’t have experience installing printers and expect it to be truly “plug and print.” This wasn’t a big deal for me as I’m pretty tech-savvy and expected having to install a driver, but I could see this being confusing for some folks! ... show more

If you’ve downloaded the driver and it still isn’t working properly, make sure you have the right paper. We thought then it must be the heating element wasn’t working and sent the printer back for a new one. WRONG. Our label paper was wrong. The printer was fine. The printer works great! Fortunately by the time the second one arrived my husband had taken our paper to work, where he has the same exact printer that works perfectly, and tested it in this printer. After reading some reviews I was a little worried about installation/setup being tricky but I plugged it right in, downloaded the driver and immediately started printing. It's literally so easy. Plus I got the green one so its super cute. Prints VERY fast!
