    • Quality fan that blows cool air perfectly and can be adjusted in any direction!
I get hot very easily, and my roommate can't stand having the fan on. So I put this on the side table and it blows on me, but misses her. :) It works beautifully, but the on/off switch is a little awkward (it's a dial on the back so you have to pick up the whole unit to get to it. The fan itself is a sphere and sits on a plastic base, so you can move the fan in any direction you want. I usually use it on low speed because that's enough for me, but on super-hot days, I'll move it a bit further away and turn it on high. It's tiny, but that's what I wanted - I don't need a fan taking up the whole side table and blowing all over the room. Would be perfect on a side table (like I have), in an office cube, on the bedside table, or in many other applications. It really takes up no room at all, but blows nice, cool air. It's made of quality materials and is very sturdy. I use it every day and it works like a charm every time! It's also very quiet - I use it when we're listening to music or watching TV, and I can barely hear it. Great value for the money and easily solved a comfort problem in our house! ... show more

    • Great little powerful fan
Review Image by Abigail
This is a tiny but mighty fan. I take it to my work because people don't run the AC in March and April but we have a heat wave this year. It's just the right size for cooling me off while I am preparing meals. It's not too noisy on high. The knob on the back is a bit different but I have no trouble operating this fan. I consider it a great price for the relief it brings me. As a little black fan, I am able to see it easily and move it around. I LOVE the non attached ring stand which makes adjusting it Very easy! ... show more

    • A Gentle Breeze
I'm slightly disappointed with this Vornado SPHERE fan compared to my other fans of this size. It looks great, quiet on low, and is extremely flexible in the direction I can adjust it, but it's too gentle and weak. The fan blows in a wide area, unlike a typical targeted Tornado fan, so it doesn't blow far. You'll need to be close to feel the wide air flow. On the positive side it does surround and envelope you with a gentle breeze within its short range. I find it works better under my desk than on my desk. ... show more

    • Great desk fan
Review Image by AHK
I work primarily by remote out of a home office which was not originally intended to be an enclosed room (the prior owners modified it into a home office; I believe it was originally a breakfast nook type space). It works wonderfully as a home office, but temperature control and comfort can be a problem during the hottest and coldest months of the year. A small space heater resolves winter's chill, but summer has remained an issue. I use a large Vornado at the other end of the condo to blow cool air from the cooler back rooms into the often-warmer front rooms (including my office), and while that helps, it doesn't resolve airflow issues within the home office itself (especially if I need to close the door for a meeting or such). Bigger fans tend to create a wind-tunnel effect in here, and I can't currently justify a Dyson (which was what the prior owners had in this room). This little fan is perfect for my needs; because it is so adjustable directionally, I can reposition it on different levels of my standing desk depending on what I have spread out before me, and even on its higher setting, it doesn't rustle papers (unless I happen to point it directly at them, and really, who could expect it NOT to at that point?), and it's reasonably quiet. In fact, it's quieter than the air purifier I have in that room! It helps keep me feeling cool and does a reasonably good job circulating the air generally in my home office (it’s quite a small room). I'm really happy with this purchase and thinking of getting a second one for my husband's home office setup (which is in the spare bedroom, but can get very warm because that room has skylights). Highly recommended. ... show more

    • For the price, it's performance and quality are more than enough.
It's so cute! It's very easy to use and set up. It's so small but does give a good cooling quality. It's very affordable but you can see that it's also a nice quality. It's not that loud that it is disturbing or anything. When you turn it on, you can hear a fan is on. Like you can tell but it's not irritating or disturbing at all. It's not whisper quiet BUT if you're like 3feet away you can barely hear it anymore. ... show more

    • Compact, but not very powerful
This fan isn't nearly as strong as I thought it would be in terms of air flow. The "detachable base" is also kind of a joke. However, it is very compact, does fit well on my small and rather crowded desk, and does an okay enough job at cooling that I'll keep it. It's probably okay if you don't need something with a lot of power, or have a small space to put it. But if you want a fan with more powerful air flow, this is not it. ... show more

    • Small but mighty, great desk fan!
Perfect desk fan for work. I was looking for something with more than one speed that wasn’t too loud. Although no fan is completely silent this one keeps pretty quiet especially on the lower speed which is what I use most often to keep the air circulating. I really like the shape and how it enables you to change directions pointing sideways up or down. Also a plus that it has a long 6 ft cord to plug in, beats a battery operated fan, more powerful. Great quality! ... show more
