Size: Headstrap with 15000mAh Battery
This is the second external battery/head-strap I have purchased for my Quest 3. The first's one's ratchet gave out after a few months. One side worked and the other was floppy and wouldn't tighten down. This one has two ratchets, One to adjust the fit to the top and the other to adjust the circumference around at the forehead. I finally have a sense of confidence with it's engineering. The good things? The external battery balances nicely on the back of the head and the ratchet's tighten down securely allowing for rapid movement without the headset bouncing around. It also has two batteries which are charged externally allowing you to change them when you run out of juice. So far, I have only had to use one of the external batteries but I do swap them out to get equal wear and tare. The hinged headstraps allow you to adjust and move the face-plate up or down and don the unit quickly once you've adjusted it to your liking. No more constantly adjusting the straps and ratchets to get a comfortable fit. Now I'm in the game in seconds. I also find that the face-plate no longer rides on my cheekbones making marks that last for hours. I love it. I will edit this review if my opinion changes but this first week has been a welcome relief. Buy it! I think you will be happy with it even if it does cost more. It's worth it for the additional batteries and the design. WAY more comfortable that the others. Ten days later, using it every day. Still LOVING IT! Worth the extra $$$. So far, no disappointments.

Been using this for a few months now and it works great. We'll made and helps distribute the weight perfectly. The battery aspect provides extra hours of use for those long adventure sessions.

The headstrap itself is very comfortable. With the two batteries I get almost indefinite playtime. I put the first on the charger when it dies and grab the second, and by the time the second dies the first charged, so I can swap back and fourth. But I get so much time out of the two batteries that I've only managed to run the second battery dry once.

I was skeptical about how comfortable this would be. I already had the after market strap that cradles the whole back part of your head and a cloth-like strap going across the top of your head. I would always have a 5ft. cable going from the head set to a battery I would keep in my pocket. As you can imagine the cord would often interfere with some of the more intense games. This product doesn't feel all that heavy, and the way it's designed and where the weight of the battery is kind of balances out the weight of the headset as well. My only complaint is that for the case I have I have to shorten both knobs of the headset all the way down for the lid to able to zip up. This makes me have to re-adjust the straps to my head every single time I take it out of the case. It doesn't take but 30 seconds, but it is a minor inconvenience.

I bought this is because the original strap give me pain around my eyes after two hours of use. Also, the battery only last 2 hours. The build quality is good and is similar to Quest 2 elite strap that I have for many years which already suffered crack & probably will be dead soon. I don’t expect this one to last too many years as very few made to achieve that. Both batteries are good & can support longer than I can play it, I.e. it still has some left before I quit playing after 4 hours & main battery is at full. The design does relieve pain from around my eyes by shifting weight. In general, I consider this is must have if you want to have good time playing Quest 3.

The head strap is extremely comfortable. I really like how you can flip up the VR from your face then remove the entire unit or just see your real environment. Adjusting it to your head uses simple turn style dials making the perfect fit no matter the size and shape of your head. I've never ran out of power on my meta quest 3 with the two 7500mAh batteries. At first I was going to get one that came with magnetic batteries that stuck into place, however, I discovered that the magnets can cause static noise in your VR headset. These batteries simply drop into place and pop right out for the swap. I'm extremely happy and highly recommend this head strap and battery upgrade.
