Electrical apprentice in the IBEW Union and this is the fan that people working in the field and/or any construction related position should purchase. The price is hefty but I will say that you are investing in a fan that will help you through hot summer days with little to no wind ventilation in buildings with no A/C. I have been putting this off for 3 years ever since I started in the trade and I’m just asking myself why not sooner. So everyone reading this; do yourself a favor and get a fan so you’re not drowning in your own sweat. Another plus is that the fan can blow away dust and debris as you’re working which is good to clear the air around you. Just use your companies battery packs and you’re set. Save a few paychecks up if they price is concerning you and you will not regret it. Why haven’t I seen these before!! With hot, humid summers in Mississippi, this was the best purchase for me to use when I clip my mini schnauzers. The air flow is outstanding blowing hair away from me as well as keeping the bugs away. Because the design is small and lightweight, we use it daily when we’re grilling or just in the swing. We take to many activities. Battery life lasts over an hour when trimming the pups. We use this Milwaukee Packout portable fan mainly for golfing, and it has been fantastic. It puts out a surprising amount of airflow for its size and does a great job keeping us cool during hot, sunny rounds. The fan is sturdy, well-built, and easy to move around. The battery life is solid and lasts through extended time outside, which is a huge plus when you’re out on the course. It’s also quiet enough that it doesn’t distract while playing. Overall, this fan has been a great investment for hot days on the golf course (and honestly anywhere outdoors).
