Bought this to take camping with us (tent camping) with an m18 8 amp hour battery it lasted 3 days on medium speed. Works great and moves a lot of air, when we’re not camping I use it in the garage. Does not require a battery, you can plug an extension chord into it making it highly versatile.

We use this Milwaukee Packout portable fan mainly for golfing, and it has been fantastic. It puts out a surprising amount of airflow for its size and does a great job keeping us cool during hot, sunny rounds. The fan is sturdy, well-built, and easy to move around. The battery life is solid and lasts through extended time outside, which is a huge plus when you’re out on the course. It’s also quiet enough that it doesn’t distract while playing. Overall, this fan has been a great investment for hot days on the golf course (and honestly anywhere outdoors). I sure love this Milwaukee M 18 battery powered fan. It has almost infinite settings for fan speed, providing good air movement. The rotating head provides good directional positioning of the fan for optimal cooling . Easy on batteries too.     • Absolutely worth the money!
One of the best camping purchases I have ever made. I ran this fan on both an M18 8.0 battery and a 6.0 and both nights I turned it on high around 10pm and when I woke up around 7am it was still going strong. Has a pretty good amount of power too. Great for use on the jobsite as well.
