I bought the DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Fan as a gift for my husband, and it has honestly turned into one of the most-used tools in our house. He uses it in the garage and when he’s working outside, but I’ve found myself borrowing it constantly too! The airflow is seriously impressive for a cordless fan. It’s powerful, and moves a lot of air without being obnoxiously loud. (It is fairly loud at full speed) but, that’s what you get for a jobsite fan and one that moves this much air!! The fact that it runs on the 20V batteries we already have is a huge bonus — just pop one in and it’s ready to go anywhere. No cords to drag around. I’ve used it on the patio, in the kitchen when cooking, and even during power outages. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and the adjustable head makes it simple to aim exactly where you need it. I’ll admit that I’m a Dewalt Fan Boy but this thing even impressed me above and beyond what I expected. This fan is no joke - it’s built like the rest of there 20V tools. Not some cheap yellow plastic which is what I kinda expected. It’s made with the same plastic that they make there drills, impacts etc. this thing is tough as nails! Put a 5ah battery in it crank it up and enjoy a stiff breeze for several hours even turned all the way up. When I say breeze I mean breeze - at full throttle this thing pushes about 5x as much air as you’d expect from a fan this size. I bought it on a whim but I find myself dragging it around and using all the time. Super handy to have a fan you can just drop wherever you need it and not have to worry about a cord. During the 100+ Texas heat wave this we lost power over night. Tossed this thing on the dresser and it made what would have been a mattress soaked sleepless night into a somewhat bearable nights sleep till the power returned.
