    • This fan is awesome compared to the similarly priced ones I've tried
It is very, very quiet on the lowest setting, which was very, very important to me. The nature-mode is super natural feeling, which was even more important to me. Other fans only have 3 speed settings, and the "jumps" between speeds are very jarring. Combined with their loudness, they are quite unnatural feeling. This fan is wonderful. It keeps your settings so you can turn it on and off easily without having to reprogram. The algorithm that determines the nature mode is fantastic -- it is not predictable, and it doesn't randomly kick up to the highest speed if you have it set on a low speed, nor vice versa. It plays around within a couple of speeds from where you set (it in either direction, including 'off'), which makes for a great effect. The rotation is wide (90 degree) when other fans are limited to 70 or so. The rotation is very quiet, where other fans make clicks or motor sounds. You can mute the beeps, and the lights turn off. Sleep mode is nice, even though I sleep with nature mode on. Assembly was easy. It seems durable. It looks sexy. The remote control is nice and simple. It could stand to have a bit of texture on a button or two so you can easily figure out which one is the power button in the dark. I would only take off 1/100th of a star for that though. There are only 6 buttons, and even with eyes closed it is clear which side is the top, so it doesn't take long to get used to it. ... show more

Gotta say, I am impressed by this Dreo Tower 42 Inch Floor Fan. I came across Dreo because I was looking for another of the Air Innovation fans I bought a few years ago for our place. That model is no longer being sold. We have two of the Air Innovations floor stand models and they are still working wonderfully well, ESPECIALLY with the twirl/swirl air feature - nice chill added to the air flow. --- and I did not want to purchase the updated, more expensive version. Dreo: a) It is somewhat quiet (no annoying noise) b) GREAT feature of allowing you to turn off the ANNOYING beep every FRIGGIN' time you press a button c) No need to get wi-fi version, unless you really, REALLY want it and want to pay an extra ~10 bucks d) The up and down air/wave pattern is nice e) The oscillation is not bad either Bottom line, this fan is performing better than I thought it would after these past several days - nice, cool air, even at level 2 on a 88 degree day. -- It took me ~10 minutes to put it together - NO tools needed and did not need to read the instructions. Very intuitive design if your mind/brain has a technical bend to it, otherwise, might take about, maybe 15-20 minutes...??? I would definitely recommend it at this point. NOTE: Make sure you find the warranty card AND the little gray User Manual booklet in the box. The "default 12 month warranty" is stated on next to last page of User Manual. Remember, if you do the scan QR code (actually, just go to the dreo.com site) to extend your warranty - it is also a quick way for them to send you email/text (even if you opted to not receive offers and whatnot). ... show more

I recently purchased a tower fan and have been delighted with its performance. The fan has a sleek modern design that blends in well with my home decor. It also has multiple speed settings that allow me to adjust the airflow to my liking. This tower fan just arrived today (6/14/21) & that's one of the reasons it didn't get 5 stars from me. There was a delay between the expected delivery date from Amazon and the actual arrival by about a week (no biggie but most of us expect to receive our order when it is stated on the site). Set up would have been easier if there were written instructions to go along with the visuals. The most important step that wasn't communicated in written format was that you need to connect the base to the fan tower with 4 wing screws. I kept trying to stand it up without doing this and it kept coming apart. After I finally had it set up correctly, it was fine. The remote is great and easy to understand & operate. From this 1st day we used, it worked very well. It will definitely cool down a good sized room an do it quickly. There are 3 style settings (we used natural as it felt most like a real breeze). The oscillation is smooth and turns about 90 degrees. For the cooling power it provides, it is relatively noiseless as well. There is also a digital temperature readout, nice! Overall, this bladeless tower fan is well worth the cost. I've seen others that don't have as many features for twice the cost. ... show more

Very quiet, good air flow, (air feels cool too) and has adjustable speeds. Remote is easy and useful.Highly recommend. Oscillates too if desired.
