  • Excellent coverage with great force and super quiet - even at high speed. Love all the options.
Color: woodgrain and grey
I have nothing to complain about this product. It has thoroughly lived up to its reviews so far. If it lasts a long time, I will be thoroughly happy with my purchase. It looks great, all the features work perfectly (even using the remote) and it is quieter than any previous fan I have owned. Completely worth the time I took to research before making this purchase. Money well spent, which is a tough thing to find these days. ... show more

  • Love it!
Color: Silver T42951
This tower fan is great. It's a reliable brand. I use it in my bedroom near my bed. Love the oscillating tower. It's the perfect height, is not always blowing directly on me while oscillating (but it can be kept stationary if so desired). Keeps me comfortable. It's quiet, has the convenient remote control & the white noise for sleep is nice. It offers various speeds too. A good purchase & a good choice. It's nice-looking too. ... show more

  • WORKS GREAT, LOOKS GREAT, WELL MADE
Color: Silver T42951
I have purchased for our vacation rental balcony use. It gets hot mid afternoon and this circulates the air without being right on top of you. It's quite and you don't feel like you are yelling over it! We leave it outside (in a covered area), and plugged in for our guests use all year long. This is on a beach, with wind and sand. I usually replace after 2-1/2+ years. Under normal home use, I have not doubt it would last much longer. I will continue to use the Lasko Oscillating Tower Fan because it made to last and worth the money! ... show more

  • A Side-by-Side Comparison of Lasko, Holmes, and Sunter Tower Fans
Color: Silver T42951
The Lasko 42" Wind Curve (wih ionizer) is a very good fan and is powerful enough for 20 x 20 foot room. The tall height works well in a bedroom where one might need to feel the breeze a bit higher while laying on a high mattress. You can also adjust the top portion of the vent up or down for your needs. The remote is handy for just such an occasion as well. The Lasko was very quiet despite its powerful breeze. The base is sturdy and I have experienced no rattling. I compared the Lasko fan to the Holmes 32" Oscillating Tower Fan and there was no comparison. The Holmes fan was too short to generate a breeze above my bed where I needed it. The power of the fan was also extremely weak in general--especially since it was being advertised as a whole house fan. Essentially, Holme's most powerful breeze was equivalent to the lowest setting on the Lasko. The interface was confusing. And there also was no remote. The Holmes base is sturdy and I experienced no rattling. I also compared the Lasko to the Sunter 40" Tower Fan (2 Pack Combo with a 13" Personal Fan). While I preferred the look of the Lasko (the silver color made it more versatile for both dark and light color themes), the truth is, of all three, the Sunter was the most powerful--though maybe only a step above. The 40" height was still high enough to reach over the bed where I needed it. Its top portion of the vent is not adjustable up-and-down like the Lasko--but most fans don't have that feature. The Sunter was fairly quiet, but not as quiet as the Lasko. The remote appears chintzier than the Lasko's but it turns out Sunter's remote range is stronger than the Lasko's. The Sunter base is sturdy and I experienced no rattling. However, I did experience vibration and rattling with its bonus personal 13" fan that came with it. Of all three fans, the Lasko was the easiest to assemble. I felt the Lasko was the most attractively versatile with its silver finish. Both the Lasko and Sunter have an easy interface to understand. Both were sturdy and did not rattle. The Lasko has the quietest breeze, with the Sunter a close quiet second. However, the Sunter offered the strongest breeze, with Lasko being a close second. Both were good for 20 x 20' rooms. The Lasko offers three speed settings; the Sunter offers four speed settings. Both offer timers. The Lasko offers an ionizer feature which is nice; however, the Sunter offers an interesting evening breeze feature. (The evening breeze feature tapers off the breeze to the next lowest level every half an hour as you drift off to sleep--VERY nice.) Finally, [at the time of this review] the Lasko costs $56.52 on Amazon; while the Sunter costs $39.99 at Costco (or $44.32 on Amazon). The $16 higher price for the Lasko dramatically altered my star rating for the product down to a 4-star. And since the Sunter is fairly comparable (with a bonus fan) at a dramatically cheaper price, I am posting a 5-star for the Sunter as a best-buy. ... show more

  • Great air flow
Color: woodgrain and grey
The media could not be loaded. What's not to like about this fan. It is awesome. Super quiet. Three speeds with remote that takes 2 AAA batteries. It oscillates great and it has night time and a timer on it. The slow speed just gives a little movement of air. The third speed is quite powerful. I love the wooden grain look on the front. It goes great with my furniture. It is taller than I expected which is great. Cant wait to use it in the summertime to cool down my sitting room. Great sale price and worth every penny. ... show more

  • Nice Breeze!
Color: Silver T42951
I live in California in the San Joaquin Valley. We get pretty toasty out this way. Its been in the high 90s and triple digits on a daily basis for weeks now. Well we did have a few high 80s, but very few. Anyways we have solar, AC and ceiling fans and do what we can to prevent high utility costs. Our home is rather large. I decided to add a tower fan to my arsenal for my bedroom. After much research, customer reviews and confusion (lol) I decided on this one. So happy with this choice! Assembly is a breeze. Just snap the two bottom halves together, slide them into the proper tower slots and you're done. I turned it on and selected 3, the highest setting. Very quiet, just a low, soft breezy sound. But man, you get a pretty powerful flow of cool air. I can tell already that we are gonna be great friends! It's a lil taller then I expected. Smart looking matte grey casing with a matte silver grill front. Sturdy, no rocking and while not silent, it's pretty quiet. I think it's a winner! Just remember, it is not an AC. Some of the reviews sorta made it seem that way. But you will feel a positive difference and the air is strong and cool. If any 'cons' pop up, I will update my review. ... show more

  • Had it for 3 years- still going strong
Color: Silver T42951
We bought this fan in 2020 for our tiny apartment that only had one wall A/C in the living room-- the bedroom was getting crazy hot in the summer. The oscillating tower fan we had at the time was much smaller. We'd only had it 9 months and it was already starting to make random, incredibly loud noises. Impossible to sleep with. We bought this fan to replace it and it has been our permanent bedroom fan for the last three years. It's very quiet and easy to sleep with, but also provides a tiny bit of white noise for my husband. The remote is kept by my bed and works great. It doesn't have a huge turn radius, but that's never been a problem for us. The air it produces is steady and strong enough to keep you cool. We love this fan and are very happy it has lasted us this long. It doesn't seem to be quitting on us any time soon either. ... show more
