The media could not be loaded. Taking into account that it has a console for the remote control, it was pretty easy to install and worked perfectly fine within the first assembly and testing! (Did not require a professional) It doesn’t make noise, just when the buttons are pressed but that can be changed with no problem (instructions in the manual). Speed 1-4 are similar and kinda slow so I would recommend keeping it at 5-6 during this hot summer. Awesome upgrade from the little fan that was installed when I bought this house. This is very modern looking fan with plenty of power. It came with everything needed for the install. I really like the remote function as my last one didn't have that feature. The light is very bright, and adjustable from color to brightness. The fans work great and the lights are bright. Remotes are a little questionable as fas as functionality goes. My biggest grip is with the remote hub. I purchased 3 of these fans for my new apartment because the provided ceiling lights were not gonna cut it. Idk why I have this problem but every time I was installing a fan the biggest headache was getting the sensor to go where it’s designed to go. It’s like they alsway make the sensors 2mm bigger than the slot they’re supposed to go. Aside from that installation struggle these fans work great. NOTE: WHN INSTALLING A CEILING FAN, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE APROVED CEILING FAN SUPPORT BOX TO MOUNT THE FAN TO. I'm pretty impressed with this ceiling fan. the variable speeds and directions, remote control. I installed this fan above my bed, the slight white noise and air movement make me sleep so much better. its nice to have the remote near your bed to adjust the setting and turn the light on and off. Have had these installed for almost a year now. They are beautiful and work wonderfully. Love the option to have the darker or lighter color as the shade of lighter wood that matched my lighter wood floor was really hard to find. Several speeds to choose from. Not noisy at all. Light is bright, I prefer a yellow light, but I know not everyone feels the same. Super happy with the quality and overall feel like the price is right! ... show more

Out of the box fan itself works but the light kit does not work. All wiring is correct but light is defective. Would not recommend. Too much of a hustle to return Update: fan also quit working all together! Very bad product all together. DO NOT BUY YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!

Looks nice too Update in one of the reviews previously somebody said that they couldn't get it to work with the switch on the wall. This has not been my experience.
