Description

The M12™ FUEL™ 1/2 in. Stubby impact wrench is the industries most Compact Impact Wrench on the market place. Measuring only 4.9 in. in length, this tool fits in tighter spaces, making users more productive. Increased torque delivers an industry leading 250 ft-lbs of breakaway torque, removing even the most stubborn bolts and fasteners. 4-Mode drive control, will allow unmatched control in various fastening applications. 1 to 3 RPM allows for precision control, and auto-shut off mode in the 4th setting will prevent over-fastening of bolts while doing reassembly work.

This unit has worked great for removing clutches requiring repair, a task that usually requires at least 2 people and multiple tools or aids. I'm coming from a 14v dewalt impact that has done hundreds of projects over more than a decade. This milwakee m12 is WAY BETTER! Not only does it have way more power than my old impact, it also can change modes, power levels 1 through 3 and then another amazing mode that will not allow you to over tighten anything! This impact is great because of its small size, but it doesn’t have the power to break a lug nut loose on my jeep. I also have the big half-inch drive M18 Milwaukee impact and that thing is a monster, so maybe my expectations are too high but I thought this would have a little bit more power. Even the 3/8 drive full-size impact has significantly more power than this l. I guess the short nose doesn’t allow for a big enough hammer. I like it and I think it will probably be good for 90% of what I do so I’m not complaining, just wanted to let people know that it doesn’t hit nearly as hard as the full-size impacts. ... show more

    • I use the little impact because it's small and it fits in places of a big I use it for everything
It's the best little impact I've ever used so far the size of it it gets in really tight places the durability evidence very good I got it in a half inch drive I think it's way better than a 3/8 for the money it's the best little tool I bought for the money

    • Small and Awesome
I have always used Air Tools when it came to Impact Drivers and Wrench for speed. I like to work on a Jeep, and off road more than once saw a fellow "Jeeper" use a compact Corderless Impact Wrench to remove the lug nuts on a wheel. I was impressed with the speed and relative quietness compared to Air Tools. I did some research online, then watched a dozen utube videos. I wanted to try it, had to be small and light but powerful. I finally went for this, and very happy I did so far. The thing is so light and small but amazingly powerful. On Speed setting 2 (it has 4 settings) I quickly removed my spare Jeep tire using the smaller of the 2 batteries that come with this "kit". Very happy to add this to my Tools and my neighbors will be happy I'll use my noise polluting Air Tools a little less. The item 2555-22 is the kit in the photo (had 2 batteries the charger, and bag). The kit bag is oversized and very universal, not sure who designed that silly thing (ding 1 star for that), wish it had a specific hard case, so I won't use the bag really, but the tool itself is the cats meow. ... show more
