I have 4 of these. Functionality and looks are very good. Price was very reasonable. All that being said, these fans were more difficult to mount than most. You have to wire up the remote control receiver separately and slip it into a narrow space in the fan hub. It requires some patience.

Beautiful fan for our Arizona patio. Moves plenty of air for comfort, and the speed adjustment works great. Very quiet, and smooth in operation, and the remote eliminates a switch that would have to be wired. A little tricky to figure out where to set the receiver, but we put it in an obvious spot,and it works well. ... show more

UPDATE- the light stopped working after about a week. The remote works, fan works, timer works- No LIGHT. I reached out to the company- they said because I bought through Amazon, they couldn't help. I reached out to Amazon and they said not eligible for return or replacement and only offered me a chat with a "bot" which was no help at all! DO NOT BUY THIS!!! Now we have to buy a new one- NOT from AMAZON or this company! Wasted money. BEFORE the light stopped working >>This did take about an hour to install. Directions were good. Blades are very lightweight. This really moves the air. We love all the settings and the timer! ... show more

I've installed more ceiling fans throughout my career than I can count, and I must say this one was by far the hardest, it's not for the average diy homeowner. It looks great and it was easy to assemble. The receiver was almost impossible to put into place, it needs to be redesigned and made much smaller. Most reviewers said they noticed increased air flow, supposedly better than other fans with five blades. I can't agree, even on the highest setting you feel the most breeze when directly under the fan and almost none at all at three feet away. If you want something that looks great then this is for you. If you need more air movement then you may want to consider something different. ... show more

This fan looks good and it truly moves the air around on my patio. Most of my old fans have 6 blades. This has 3 and they work more efficiently. Love the remote control and added LED lighting.
