The media could not be loaded. Saw this on Amazon and thought I would give it a shot because the all clad one was too small for the quantity of food I cook. I’m always cooking for groups of 10-25 and I have a really serious reputation for my fried chicken among other things. Doing batches of 4 pieces at a time for 50 pieces in a wok on the stove got really old and really messy. This deep fryer is lighter weight than I anticipated, but it’s amazing. Oil temp isn’t exactly what the dial says but it gets plenty high for chicken (which is about the highest temp you generally fry anything at) and I can do 12-14 pieces at a time in it. It also stays fairly consistent which is amazing. The ability to hang the baskets at different heights is great. All stainless makes easy cleaning. If you buy vegetable oil at Costco, you’ll need 4 jugs to fill both bins.

As it has been said this item requires alot, 5000 watts of power. I hold events in a basement and the first few attempts went bad. I first realized that the house which is fairly new doesn't have the outlet power to sustain without popping the circuit. This was slightly annoying. I then decided to run them off my generator and then had an issue because they burned the extension cord out. I then went and purchased 12 and 10 gauge 15 and 20 amp extension cords and since then they have been working awesome. Going on 2 years now. I gave them a four because even though it says 5000 watts, i think they should tell people what that actually means and what may be needed for them to actually work. These are not the home deep fryers you are thinking you are buying. I also agree that if you are going full commercial that you can probably do better. However for the price, if you have the resources to run them, i think they are a great buy.

The product did not work at all!! I plugged it into my food truck and it immediately kicked the breaker before even heating up. I took it into my house to work on it. I reset it and it started heating then it flipped the breaker in the house. My generator for the food truck is huge. So that shouldn’t have happened. My house is over 2000 sq feet so the breaker shouldn’t be tripped by one product. It’s definitely not fair I cannot return. I received on Feb 6th but you closed your window March 5. Not even a full 30 days. If I would have known I would have opened immediately and tried it out. This product is hazardous!!

Reading all of the feedback on the comments the overwhelming issue some have is with breakers. So what I believe is happening is most new homes have a AFCI or GFCI breaker in the panel and new construction and some updated construction used cheap breakers. An electrician can adapt for your situation and stay within code. I have had ZERO issues. This fryer is the BEST fryer I've owned in the last 30 years. It is perfect. Those who say its flimsy are absolute taters and are wishing on a star. This is high quality yet inexpensive, you get a lot for your money with this and it's NOT cheaply made. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
