This was a hard purchase for me. I’m a cyclist and a rower. I have bikes, kayaks, a bike trainer, and a rowing machine. None of these things go with desk work, so I looked into treadmills. Many bad reviews scared me, but I finally chose this one. This treadmill has decent shock absorbers. The description did not make this clear to me. The “slow” speed is plenty fast for me. I’ve only used about half its capacity and much faster I think would impede work. I have gone 90 minutes while researching, typing, and using a mouse and trackball. The mouse did get shaky, but the learning curve was small. I found light jogging quite comfortable while working. Being able to walk or jog while working has been great. It gives me energy and helps extend focus later in my day. The remote works great. The display provides more information than I need. I only really need speed and time. The timer counts up how long you’ve been on. The cord is short, but I only added a 6 foot 3 prong extension cord to plug in behind my desk. It would easily plug in with your PC if you don’t have multiple laptops, monitors and battery backups like I do. When I’m done this very light weight device leans up on the wall and totally out of the way. I recommend a silicone spray lubricant for the belt. Much easier and more even than the oil supplied. I found no slippage or belt wandering as I saw in reviews. With the metal guide bars underneath I’m not even sure that can happen. My space heater makes more noise, and since I don’t need a heater while jogging it cuts noise in winter. If you are still thinking, just do it. The media could not be loaded. This product is great to get extra steps in at home, and I love using it while watching tv. The only downside is the clicking noise on the left side of the pad. The sound comes only when I step on that section.

We bought this treadmill in order to make it more convenient to get regular exercise, even when we're not able to do so outside. This machine is very quiet and fits easily under our futon, so it can be pulled out to use even if the early mornings or late evenings when others are sleeping.
