This device is definitely quite the upgrade too and packs alot of suction power with it! Probably one of the most notable features on this robo vac is that it incorporates digital mapping of your home and uses that to learn its way around. It also uses laser guiding to cut down on any missed areas. The smart mapping features allow you to set up a custom way to clean your home and offers 4 different choices in that regard. Where have you been all my life? Life is so much better having this vacuum and mop my floor. OMG My floors are hardwood and I have one carpet. I have a dog. I have long hair. I have been neglectful at keeping up with the vacuuming and mopping but never when I vacuumed did it EVER get my floors absolutely polished without a speck. It picked up the finest to the most embedded in my carpet. I have taken a brush to my carpet before to lift hair for the vacuum to pick it up - and it was a lot of work for little reward. I basically determined that I'd sooner buy new rugs until I came across this when I wasn't really in the market for anything. My old vacuum works and I thought it worked well. I almost did NOT buy this Viomi - it was second choice because there were only 26 reviews and the other had over 1000, but the rankings and glee from the reviews - and the belated avail of the 1st choice - made me get this. It is truly the best. Watching it map the rooms - my ability to select which rooms - watching it be SO thorough and hug every side and pocket. But really none of that matters if it doesn't suction up everything - and it SUCTIONS up everything. I've gone over my rug about 4 times in 2 days - which I've done because it's picked up sooo much. I've told my mail lady about it, I told a man who came to inspect for termites (no termites!). You'd think I was getting kickbacks. I'm not. The ONLY thing that was hard - was something so painfully obvious that they didn't think to put in the manual - and that is HOW DO YOU OPEN IT? I looked in the manual, I looked online, I looked for YouTube videos... nothing! I grabbed at the sides, afraid to apply any pressure, I pulled slightly at the "knob"... confounded! But all you do to open is LIFT the seamless lid that has no notch it's just the lower half of the circle. ANYWAY, so amazing. The only thing that could be improved: my long hair gets wound and wound around the brush - that's great - it really works - but removing the hair from the ends of the brush is a process. It would be better if the ends were detachable so the hair could slide off.

This not only vacuums well but has excellent moping capabilities for our hardwood floor! The unit is very easy to use and configure. The charging station also has the charging contacts that are vertical and seems to dock easier than the older robotic vacuums we have. The mopping function seems to work well to keep the dust and dander minimum as we have three cats and they track cat litter dust often. The battery life seems excellent and definitely great for pets too ❤️

I am obsessed with this machine and I have had it only one night! When it comes to cleaning- I’m the kind of person that gets on their hands and knees to scrub the floor to make sure it’s super clean. I stalked the machine as it was cleaning (defeats the purpose of me getting it I know) and my floors are immaculate. You have the option to change the intensity of cleaning for mopping and vacuuming. For the price, I though I was going to get scammed with a bot that doesn’t work— I was wildly mistaken!! Plan on buying more for my family!

IMPRESSIVE barely describes the way I feel about this incredible device! As a first time owner of a robot vacuum, much less one with the dual mop function, the VIOMI V2 Max Robot Vacuum and Mop Cleaner exceeded it's advertisements with the following capabilities that had me thinking "How did I ever live before this..": - This vacuum and mop in one device saves me so much time when having company over on short notice! The water reservoir is large enough to clean 2 rooms and it gets rid of the toughest stains with great ease. - The exterior is all black in design and beautifully crafted to offer buyers a chic aesthetic that looks like some type of art installation! The 1-touch control blends in with the device and makes operability simple. - The suction power has 5 modes that range from quiet to strong suction, with the latter being the loudest. Even then, this smart device is capable of suctioning the biggest of items with no difficulty in strong mode. - I love the simplistic navigability that the app offers and a visual representation of how the vacuum views the room it is in as it scans it. I haven't experienced any glitches in the app, only smooth sailing so far. With so many features to love and 0 things to dislike on this robot vacuum, it was given an easy 5-star review! I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a decently priced dual robot/mop vacuum that gets the job done with the push of 1 button.

The media could not be loaded. I have a robot vacuum bought two years ago. Among several other things, the most annoy one is it needs magnetic strips to set up the boundaries. This one doesn't! The laser detector works wonderfully to set the boundaries. Once that part is done, the vacuum just does its job within the boundaries. I would name this feature the most significant improvement comparing to the old one. I don't think the app is needed to do this but the app just makes the process better by showing the boundaries and map that the vacuum has cleaned up. I also noticed that this vacuum noticeably larger and has more power than my old one. In fact, I feel it is better in almost every aspect comparing to the old one. Very happy about it!
