This fan was very easy to install and came with all of the needed parts. It was packed well and included ok instructions. I had to figure out where the center screw posts went and which was which. PROS: Easy to install. Quiet. lots of wind under it. Remote controlled. Can be used on an outdoor patio. (covered - no direct rain) CONS: Instructions could have been a bit clearer for the assembly of the light portion. Didn't include bulbs. Cannot dim the lights with the remote. Lots of wind under it but not so much spreading/fanning out. (personal choice) OTHER: Can't seem to find any replacement remotes in case this one breaks. I guess at that point, I would have to wire it directly to a switch. Overall, I would recommend this product as it has performed as it should and looks very nice. ... show more

Needed a new ceiling fan for of family room. My wife was looking for something unusual. She found it with this fan. Lighting is superb and the fan function is great. Friends are amazed when the see that the fan blades actually retract when the unit is turned off. Great product.

Was skeptical product would be of any quality but pleasantly surprised. There were a lot negative comments about lack of instructions. While they are minimal, if you have any experience at all installing a ceiling fan, you will have zero problems. ISSUES: Only issues, and they are minor are the the power and neutral leads from the receiver are so short, it’s nearly impossible to get the connected and place the receiver in the bracket. I did as one reviewer did and soldered some additional wire onto them and made it a breeze. Second issue was it was missing the two screws to secure the finish ring to the hanging bracket. I had a couple laying around that worked. Just sprayed them black and all good. Lastly, the ground wire on the bracket easily came loose and separated from the bracket. I simply took the house ground wire and attached to one of the bracket screws. Fan works beautifully and with 60W LEDs it produces very good light. It was a perfect fit for our laundry/utility room. ... show more

The only thing I dislike about this fan is the beep it makes every time the switch is turned on. They could definitely have left that off the design. Other than that, I love this fan. It is quiet and brightly lit if you use regular led bulbs. Be aware that the edison type bulbs that say they are soft white are not....they give more of a yellow cast. I bought edison type bulbs for the style, but quickly replaced them with regular led. Much nicer and brighter! ... show more

    • Nice fan for low ceiling
Size: 42 Inches
Once you get it installed, you'll probably like it. But the installation leaves A LOT to be desired. 1) It comes with concrete wall anchors that you need a masonry bit to install. If your ceiling is a solid concrete slab, these will hold it. If it's drywall or plaster, these are useless. 2) Assuming you already have ceiling light fixture, it's probably screwed into a standard box, and that box mounted securely to the ceiling rafters. Modify the mounting bracket as shown in the picture by drilling a small hole on 3.5" centers from one of the two existing slots. Then throw away the plastic anchors and screws and reuse the old fixture screws to mount it securely. 3) No wire nuts were included. Make sure you have two new ones ready to go. 4) The hot and neutral leads are VERY short, maybe 3" above the rim of the mounting base. There are a few control boxes and receivers inside the base and they are a tight fit. If you pull the hot and neutral lines up to wire nut them, all that stuff comes out, too, and its difficult to get it back inside the base properly. If it sticks up, you won't be able to get the base up high enough to latch into the mounting bracket. Adding a foot of wire to the leads would make this MUCH easier and a one person job instead of two. 5) The remote comes without a battery, which is an oddball size. And there are no markings on the remote to tell you what size to buy. It's a 23A. 6) The instructions are horrible translations, and completely useless. Example: "Do not touch high power patch LED by hand, and scratch sharp objects." 7) There is a yellow wire, which I assume is the ground wire. But it's not mentioned anywhere ... show more

The fan is nice, and it works great. Sadly, it was missing screws, and the seller asked me to buy them separately. One nice feature is that the fan defaults to the light coming on regardless of how you had it when you turn the wall switch off. I wish more fans did this. Not a big deal, but the light does not dim. ... show more
