This was an ok cage for small animals but not for bigger animals. We planned on putting Rhinelanders in this cage and for people who do not know they are a larger breed if rabbit. The cage wasn't sturdy enough to hold them. Not a good cage for outdoors , not exactly water proof like said in the description, it can withstand a small amount of water but not an actual storm like we get. The directions did not explain anything and we just had to figure everything out on our own. DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH SCREWS, we had to grab some of our own supplies. The trays are unsanitary the animals are just sitting in their own waste.Overall wound not recoment this cage to anybody. ... show more

Worst purchase ever. I had expected some difficulties after reading the other reviews and sure enough there were no predrilled holes or markers for where to drill; it was unfinished, and the green top is a cheaply stapled piece of Ill-fitted material that would do nothing to protect it from the elements. What I discovered was its flimsy construction, that the wood gives splinters, it was missing six screws and the screws it came with were very cheaply made meaning I couldn’t even put the bottom cage on. The doors are the worst since there are no guides for the hinges and they are ill cut, don’t fit well in the space, have very little room for hinge placement and leave gaps all over. But the worst, WORST part about it is that it leaks! Yes, even with two liners stool falls out from the single guinea pig I have and it leaked urine all over the carpet. It is completely impractical for a pig and just poor all around. I waited a week before ordering a C&C cage like I should have from the start. My favorite thing about this cage were the latches that I bought and installed myself (and are a must since the little wood pieces are gonna do squat). Do yourself a favor and find a better quality hutch or check out C&C cages for indoor use. ... show more

The material used are very cheaply made. Many of the parts came warped. This would not withstand rain, so I would not call it weather resistant. It is not sturdy at all. The instructions are very brief. A rabbit would most likely chew this, or any rodent for that matter considering it feels like a rodent chew stick. I used a screwdriver to put the screws in if that goes to show how durable the materials are. If you're going to use it inside, sure it'll work. Outside, I wouldn't recommend. ... show more

Really hard to put together must hang all of the doors. The roof is flimsy wood wrapped with cloth. Compared to the one we bought from another company its horrible spend the extra money save the head ache and buy a pawhut product instead.

    • Very Flimsy Not Good For Rabbits At All
It is extremely unsteady, not sturdy at all, as soon as I put my mini lop in it the bottom bowed if it hops it'd break ain't risking it so now my rabbit is in a dog crate until I get another better hutch. Very very extremely unhappy with this purchase.

For what it is, it's great but we live in El Paso where the sun and wind are strong. It is made of very thin wood and just didn't hold up.
