  • IMHO, this Vevor basket is the largest and the best for less than others. IMHO, this Vevor basket is the largest and the best for less than others.
Ordered on the 3rd of June, received it on the 6th. Started installing it late Saturday, finished final touches today, Sunday. First off i was trying to look for a front basket as my hips and back would not tolerate a basket in the rear, too much turning and twisting for this old body, but most that I looked at were about the same price if not more but they were all so much smaller. I saw the specs on this one and decided this is the one for me. Once I opened up the box, I immediately took off the T bracket that attaches it to the back hitch. I proceeded to use a few brackets I had from another project, then used the mounting bracket from the smaller rubber basket the scooter came with and rigged everything up and now I have a great front basket. not too big not too small, just the right width and height. They're as wide as my handle bars on my go go and I raised it to where the top of the basket is even with the top of the handle bars. This basket is built very well also, I was a machinist all my life and I do know just a little bit about metal things and how some are produced. If you're thinking about this for your scooter, whether in front, as I did, or in the back I highly recommend it. less expensive, larger and very well built. At my age my workmanship isn't the best but it'll work for what I need it to do. ... show more

  • This Basket is AWESOME!
This basket is awesome! I wanted a way for my Pomeranian to be able to join me on my scooter outings. This basket has done the job! It is of excellent quality, while being substantially less expensive than all of the others that I saw. It will fold down flat for transport. I put cardboard and a doggy bed in the bottom of the basket to block the holes so tender paws are not slipping through the basket holes. The basket could be used for so many things. It's weight limit is 33 pounds I believe. You need to have a 1" hitch receiver on you scooter seat to accommodate the basket. Buy with confidence and have fun!! ... show more

  • Good sized basket, easy to install
Decent sized basket, can be folded up against the back of the seat when not using, easy to install, no tools needed. It does rattle and squeak a lot whether it's folded up or folded down and being used which took some getting used to.

  • Scooter basket
This the basket to get, went on a cruise and it was so helpful on my travels, light weight, easy fold down, easy hook up and take off. Gonna use all the time when I go out

  • Great basket!
Fits perfectly, and is very big. I would also like to add that it folds nicely to store

  • Works great
The only thing that I found is it will not swivel up to set at the back of my chair

  • Unusable to me, too heavy, and sits at a slanted angle to look sloppy and cheap
I really wanted this to work as I need a basket so I have a space to put my groceries when shopping in my mobility scooter but this just didn't work out. The cons: 1. It's rather heavy, I'm 60 years old and disabled but not extremely disabled but trying to put the pull/push pins into the holes while making the holes line up with the weight of this unit was difficult and painful on my fingers having to grasp the wire basket. 2. Once you bring it down from the upright folded position it has a terrible slope to the back of the scooter. If you put a 2 liter bottle of soda or a can of soup in the basket it would roll to the back just standing still and let's face it, I didn't spend thousands of dollars on my mobility scooter to add a basket that looks like its broken and hanging at a bad angle towards the rear of the scooter and almost look "homemade". 3. It can support up to 33 pounds (or at least that's what the ad states) but its not exactly useable, I may be able to stick a 75 pound weight in the basket and it can support it but once you take off with it and just 33 pounds in the back you may find your mobility scooter is popping wheelies and relying a whole lot on your scooter anti-tip rear wheels to prevent from flipping over backwards. Having less weight wioll obviously reduce this problem as will stopping and starting on a hill will make this issue worse so to me it's good for maybe 5 pounds of stuff to carry in it as I have quite a few hills to traverse on my way to the shops 4. It states it weighs about 9 pounds, that's a lot to add to your scooter and will reduce the distance you can get out of a full charge but worse than that you're trying to fold it up and down and generally manipulate 9 pounds with your finger tips, which was remarkably difficult when I tried. 5. I found it did not like to keep its form when the walls are in a square so unless you have a box inside it to hold its shape the walls can come loose, those wire crimps that the walls squeeze into don't require them to squeeze into, they sit rather loose and without a box inside the basket the walls will try to fold into the basket or at least one or possibly 2 of them will do so. 6. The noise, oh goodness, the noise. The constant rattling is highly annoying, after installing it on the scooter and simulating a ride by shaking the scooter it had the basket making all kinds of terrible rattling noises. I'm not sure how well it works when full of your groceries but at least half my trip will be with the basket either folded up behind the seat or extended behind the seat empty, either way you have it, half my trip is going to be quite loud with the rattling and you definitely won't be sneaking up on any raccoons, that's for certain. 7. The push/pull pins that hold it in position are difficult to get into place while trying to hold it aligned to make the holes line up and add another rattle object to the basket. The Pros: 1. It's under $50 2. If you zip tie the basket into its square shape, at least the walls won't be able to randomly fold in on itself although that means it's always open and extended. 3. The metal is strong, so you won't likely be able to deform it. 4. It has some reflective tape rectangles on the rear to help others on the road see you, but I still suggest adding tail light(s) to the back of your scooter if yours doesn't have them already but the small reflective tape is better than nothing at all 5. It's a nice size, some might even say it's large. I might have been able to overlook a good deal of the cons, but the look of it when either extended and saggy looking (and it looks worse when you've got anything in the basket but that's probably an optical illusion), but the true sag look I really couldn't abide by, it looked too sloppy and almost home made with that cheap sort of homemade look. perhaps if they came with a nice canvas sail cloth basket insert it might have given it a professional look and the rest would be easier to overlook but it doesn't. Item refunded The refund process was rather strange as it asked questions like if it had any hair or odors. What does that even mean? Do people have their pets in the basket and their leaving behind hair and soiling the basket causing a stink? And asking a question similar to is it in exactly the same as it was from the manufacturers boxing? Yes it was the best I could and included the instructions, and parts though honestly it looked slightly used in the sense that the instruction manual was kind of ruffled and spotty with grease or something but it wasn't important to me as I figured I'd only need the instructions one time and I have to say they really really could have done better on the images (more closeup images and clearer images) in the manual but the English instructions were solid English and not the usual Cringlish you often get from a made in China type of product so you can add that to the pros above. I don't know, it just made me feel they were looking for any excuse to not take it back, but I dropped it off at the return location and gotten the email stating I should see the refund by Sept. 19th. So, if you're on a tight budget and don't care how your mobility scooter looks and rattles don't drive you insane then maybe this is okay for you. ... show more
