  • Well worth the purchase price
Color: Red
I was surprised at how well this scooter worked considering it was such a low cost lightweight. It did, however, appear to be very well made and was nicely finished. The removable basket that came with the scooter was very easy to detach making it quite useful. The headlight made it easy to see any problems with the riding surface at night. I took it to the Oshkosh airshow campgrounds this past July. For the 5 days I was there it performed exceptionally well running approximately 5 miles a day. It had no problem running in grass or on hard surfaces. Since I only had charging access for about an hour each night, the battery charge indicator was very useful. Also, since the batteries were never fully charged, I couldn't check the maximum range. In summary, this is an excellent, inexpensive, little scooter that met all my needs and is worth considering. ... show more

  • Great scooter
Color: Red
This scooter is easy to assemble as it comes three quarters put together. Runs like a charm, my wife needed it and loves it. The battery life is very good and the scooter can go fairly fast so be careful. Store mobility scooters made my wife's back hurt, this one does not.

  • Great Scooter for Seniors in Assisted Living
I ordered this scooter for my 91 year old father who just moved into Assisted Living. The walk from his room to the dining area, outside and other activities was more than he was used to with his walker so I thought this would scooter would help him. It was super easy to put together and the video provided was very useful. He absolutely loves it and was so excited that he can now easily move about even on dialysis days when his energy is zapped. It is easy to drive and maneuver for him as well. ... show more

  • Worth more by far than what is costs
Color: Red
I had a different scooter for 10 years. Because of a back injury from a parachuting accident in the Navy I was unable to take my dog for walks without it. My dog got old and died and I gave the scooter away - not planning on getting another dog at my advanced age. I did get a dog. I checked the price to get the same scooter I had and it was $2800. I bought this one instead. It is more stable, easier to drive, has a longer lasting battery, and is superior in every way except how small it folds up. I am very pleased. The lady I gave my old scooter to is considering scrapping it and buying one of these ... show more

  • My dad loves it
Color: Red
Got this as a gift for my dad, and he loves it. We told him we were getting him one, and like many thrifty older people didn't want us spending any more money on him than we had to. I did a bunch of research, and picked this one out as the best one for his needs, for the money. The things we wanted for sure were puncture proof tires, some sort of basket or carrying rack, and a key or way to lock it off for security purposes. Dad also said he wanted one that would go as fast or faster than he could walk. I guess a friend of his got one and it is so slow it takes longer on his scooter than it takes him to walk, and he's almost 90. As to dad, he is 87, and was worried it might be complicated to operate, but he took to it in no time, as it is very simple. Put in the key and turn it (like a car ignition) and pull the lever on the right for forward, pull the one on the left for reverse, kind of like a throttle lever. The farther you pull the lever, the faster you go, and if you just let go of both, it rolls to a stop fairly quickly. Also on the display (think dashboard of a car) there is an indicator of how much battery life you have left, as well as a knob that you turn to limit your top speed. Turning the knob will move a bar graph on the display relative to where the speed is set which is far better for someone with old eyes to see than if it had just a little mark on the knob as some scootes have. Overall, it was made with large easy to see displays and simple, straightforward controls. The only other control would be a parking brake. Flip it one way, and the brake is applied and the scooter won't move, and will hold it's place even on a slope. Flip it the other way, and you're ready to go. The tires are large enough and aggressive enough to handle a normal gravel driveway, but not deep loose gravel or anything like beach sand. Stability is good, and it is easy to get on and off. The armrests on the seat flip up out of the way and the seat itself will swivel sideways to make it easier to get on and off. Seat height is adjustable, but requires a wrench to do so. I had mixed feelings about that, but the more I think about it, the more I think it might be better to set it to his height once, and have it stay where you set it without worrying dad might grab the wrong lever and unexpectedly drop the seat. The only lever on the seat is to unlock the swivel feature. Again, I think simpler is better with someone elderly learning something new. Charging is simple, a cord plugs into the wall, and into a port below the handlebars, and the large display makes it easy to figure out when to charge. The handlebars fold down and the seat can be removed without tools for putting in the trunk of a car, but it weighs about 40 pounds so it is a bit much for Dad to do himself at his age, but most any healthy adult should be able to handle it as removing the seat takes a little weight off, and it is actually pretty easy to grab. For what we paid for it, we couldn't ask for anything more. ... show more

  • Well worth the price paid. It worked great.
Color: Red
Works wonderful. Used it on a cruise to help me get around. The size was perfect to fit in my car. It wasn’t too heavy. The battery stayed charged for a long period of time. Was very comfortable and easy to use. Was quiet during operation. Well worth the price paid.
