I named him Dave and I've always wanted one of these and honestly don't know why I waited so long. It's a great product. He looks adorable and he projects out of his helmet so his head moves, but don't worry if it comes off, I've done it a few times and it goes right back on. The remote is great. It controls the Nebula and let's you scroll through the different color choices as well as how slow or fast you want it to circulate. The remote also controls the stars as well as their brightness and speed as they fade in and out. I like to just have the stars not fade and stay motionless. The stars are green, which I really like, but just know you can't change the color of the stars. You can also choose to have both effects or just one. The remote does take 2 AAA that are not included, but I'm always getting great deals on the Amazon brand batteries, so that's no trouble. Dance is well made. Great quality. Shipped fast. And was such a great value. I have absolutely no complaints. This is great for people of all ages. ... show more

I got this for my 5-year-old daughter’s room after she started feeling more anxious at night, and it has been a great upgrade from the little stuffed star bear she used as a toddler. Design & Features - The astronaut design is adorable and much more “grown-up” than her old nightlight, which she loves. The remote makes it easy to switch between colors and effects without having to get up. Lighting & Effects - The light is very bright — it adjusts between “pretty bright” and “very bright.” For me, I’d need a sleep mask if I were trying to sleep with it on. But for my daughter, the brightness makes the room feel magical rather than scary. The moving lights and star patterns fill the entire room, which is exactly what I hoped for. Usefulness - This has quickly become part of her nightly routine, and it really helps her feel calmer at bedtime. The variety of colors and motion keeps it interesting, so it doesn’t feel repetitive. [UPDATE: see last paragraph] I really loved this projector! The variations of light brightness and and different nebula colors. But 5 months after I bought it and the nebula function stopped working. It stopped spinning or orbiting. It just stays in place. I was trying to find a way to contact the company. To see if this was not an or if there was a way to fix this. Because if the shell life is 5 months. It’s kind of short. UPDATE: 1. After leaving this comment the company reached out to me and offered to give me a replacement since I still have a one year warranty. I thought that is pretty thoughtful of them for reach out to us - the customer. 2. While I was waiting for a response for the company I tried to solve the issue by myself and I found something that worked for me. When the nebula stopped its spinning function. I turned off the projector and then unplugged it. I left it like that for one full day. The next day I turned it on and the nebula function was working perfectly. I figured I should leave this here in case anyone wants this tip. ... show more

My boys are obsessed with this (3,6yo). Well, we all are obsessed. It is so beautiful. The light is bright enough for my kids whole room. The light is super bright, I love the change of colors and the brightness of it all.
