  • Cheap quality but basically does the job
This cage would be great if it came with actual metal screen or hardware cloth. Instead it comes with cheap flimsy plastic mesh that you must cut out precisely and zip tie it to each bar. You're left with a crazy looking finished product with hundreds of zip ties sticking out everywhere. This activated my OCD. For the money they charge for these things and they have the audacity to make you cut out each section of mesh precisely and walk around all day zip time into the bars. They could have just attached screen or hardware cloth to each section and shipped them in a flat box and you just attach the pre-assemble panels but they did not. The aluminum piping is fine and the area is large enough for the animals to Rome but the mesh is frustrating to deal with and look at. So cheap. I would not repurchase based solely on the mesh. I will have to redo this all in screen or hardware cloth. I have chickens escaping and I just don't like that messy look. Also in a critter can get in there and kill your chickens through that mesh. If you buy it you really do need to invest and actual wire hardwood cloth but it will do the job if you're not worried about predator animals. The metal aluminum bars are worth maybe $50 in total and the mesh maybe $10 in total. Overpriced junk! ... show more

  • Easy assembly, netting material isn’t that great!
We bought this for an additional run for our chickens. The frame was easy to assemble and only took up about 45 minutes to do the frame. We did not like the netting that came with this at all. We went and bought chicken wire to cover the run. The door latch is not very secure at all and has HUGE gaps in it and does not latch at the bottom, any animal can push against it and get in. We are trying to figure out a better functioning latch and how to close up the huge gaps around the door. I believe there are better constructed runs out there than this one. ... show more

  • Easy to set up
Extremely easy to set up. I'm a 63 yr old woman and if I can do it by myself, anyone can. The only issue I had was the cover did not fit right it was a little small and there were no ties so I used zip ties. I found it easier to add the wire by running up the side and over the roof then down the wall. Essentially the top and sides are enclosed first then I did the back and front. Super easy. I have 10 chickens in there and they are comfortable. I do plan to get o e more so I can tie them together as one as I would like to have one coop as a housing area and the other for roaming when it's raining. I love the quick connect feature. ... show more

  • Decent for the money
I paid $60 more for one the same size that was much more sturdy. For the money this one isn’t too bad. Easy to assemble, even with vague instructions. However, be prepared to purchase additional chicken wire. The stuff they supplied is super cheap. Thin, and some squares not even stuck together… also, zip ties provided are small and flimsy. And the cover provided for the roof is too small. ... show more

  • Great for chicken tractor, but weak "wire"
This was super easy to assemble by myself, however the chicken wire is made of some sort of plastic coated very thin wire. This would never hold anything other than broilers in and we reinforced the bottom with plastic lattice to keep predators out. The latch is also not sturdy enough for any other animals. ... show more

  • Easy
I found this extremely easy to assemble and I am an almost 60 year old woman and assembled it myself. The only thing I found to be difficult is I felt the machine bolts for the door should have been longer. The netting is thin but even if it were chicken wire, that only prevents your chickens from getting out, it won't keep predators out. I attached hardware cloth at the bottom to make it more sturdy against predators. Some of these reviews crack me up. Did you think you were getting a handcrafted, wooden, Amish built coop/run for $200.00??? When I read snap together poles, I thought "tent" and that is very similar to what the frame is like. I expected it to be lightweight and therefore, was not disappointed. ... show more

  • Good coop bad fencing
The coop is great but the fencing is to thin of material doesn't keep wild animals out from getting your chickens

  • Not Again
If I knew then what I know now. I'll say that the frame is great, but plan on buying your own chicken wire. The chicken wire that comes with this is extremely cheap. It has only been a couple of months since I put mine up and the wire is already rusting through with large holes appearing. The only reason it got even two stars from me is because of the frame and ease of assembly. I've spent another $100.00 on galvanized chicken wire that will last a few years. ... show more
