When I received the products at first I was EXTREMELY disappointed I thought they were smaller than I expected. I looked everywhere for something like these products and I honestly was unable to find anything else decently priced for what I needed so I decided to give it a try and not return them. SURPRISINGLY the 2 large ones held 75lbs of flour, and 75lbs of rice, the 2 small ones held 45 lbs of sugar, and 25 lbs of black beans (the container with the black beans was NOT completely full so I suspect it would hold about 45-50lbs of dried beans). They do NOT have as tight of lids as I would like, so to be extra safe I have put plastic wrap over the top of each ingredient bin to make sure they are safely sealed so no bugs get in. Overall it was a decent buy. It works perfectly for my small pantry, I would possibly buy again. It's for sure better then the ingredients being stored in just the paper bags they come in when you bulk buy. And I feel they look a lot better with ingredients filled in them and suspect i will have these forever now because I am decently satisfied with them. Hope this review helps!!! ... show more

    • Flimsy thin plastic- not air tight. Get what you pay for.

Was a good price for two and had high ratings so I went for it. Need these to store imported Italian wheat flour and rice (pricey ingredients- not like storing dog food) They are absolutely NOT air tight which means humidity and bugs can easily get in. Once built and completely snapped together you can push on the sides- like squeeze it- and the plastic is so flimsy you can easy squish it and you hear/feel the air "breathing" in and out. Once these are full of something heavy like rice or flour idk howd it'd hold up bc it is so flimsy. The lid snap locks also don't snap on very well or at all (think Snapwear style lids) bc the plastic just bends in under the slightest amount of pressure. I seriously don't understand the high star rating on these. If they are being used for craft supplies or pet food it's whatever but if you have something heavy or that actually needs moisture/bug proof- this isn't it. Does NOT fit 22lbs of pet food. Barely fit 17.6lbs of my cats food and I had to vacuum up the overflow, will not fit the 20lbs of my dog's food and I end up having to roll the bag up and pour the excess in later, which defeats the reason why I got this size. My cats food pieces are about flat, about the diameter of a pea, my dog's food is even tinier (Kirkland's Small Dog Dry Food). The latches don't always like to stay closed and/or latch closed after taking the lid off and putting it back on again. Only real plus is that it takes up less room than the Vittles Vaults I was using before. ... show more
