We recently rescued a large Bernese Mountain Dog & got this to store his dry food. But it’s so large & easy to maneuver (and fits under a table), that we also use it to store some of his other things. Instead of pouring his bag of dry dog food directly into the bin, we put the entire bag in the bin. Not only does that keep the bin cleaner, but it allows us to also store his treats, bones & other various items, in another bag, inside the bin. Great quality, good price & made in the USA. I take my lab to the dog sitter multiple times in the course of a month. She takes her own dry dog food when she goes and this container is perfect. It is lightweight and durable, holds enough food for at least a week, and does not leak (or allow small critters--like mice--to get in). I ordered this for my dogs food and it works great. I was looking for a while and the ones I found were really expensive, but this one is great for the price. The seal is good, and I like the color a lot! I got the grey. It comes with wheels but I kept mine without them. All in all a good purchase!

In the great war between man vs. cat, there is and almost always must be an escalation of arms. The cats, our clever foes, consistently think of new ways to utilize their fantastic natural endowments to irritate humanity to ever-reaching heights. Man must strike back. We lack the stealth, patience, razor sharp claws, night vision and supreme agility to overcome the cats in a standoff of direct physical confrontation... but unbeknownst to the cats, we DO outwit them in our cunning. By extracting the compressed, liquefied remains of our ancestors and refining them, we produce a cheap-yet-durable material that we have dubbed "plastic." It can be made both rigid and soft, and it's appearance and form are eminently and easily configurable. It is also impenetrable by domestic cat claws. Little is more infuriating than returning home from work and finding a gruesome scene - crumbs and kibble strewn about the kitchen, gushing from a certainly-doomed cat food bag whimpering in the corner.
