I picked this 10-lb IRIS airtight storage container to hold my homemade laundry powder, and it’s exactly what I was looking for. The locking lid clicks down firmly and keeps the scent locked in. I filled it yesterday, and my mix still smells fresh and strong. The tall, narrow design saves space in my laundry area, and the clear sides make it easy to see when I’m running low. Right now it’s holding a full batch of my powder with scent boosters (see photos), and there’s still room for the scoop to rest on top without disappearing under the mix. The wheels are a nice bonus, making it easy to pull out from under the shelf even when it’s heavy. Build quality feels sturdy, and there’s no flex in the plastic when it’s full. I bought this because I live in a tropical climate where bugs are just a part of life. If you do not store things in airtight containers, expect there to be bugs in it within a few days. I had an issue with ants always finding their way into my pet food and I got fed up with throwing it out and re-buying (and wasting money) so I got this. I was skeptical because it was so cheap but this works so well. It has foam around the edge of the lid which keeps it so bugs or other critters cannot crawl inside. Some have the plastic edging around them, but the foam also makes the lid close quietly if you just let it fall shut. The wheels are very stable and do not get stuck while rolling it back and forth. It holds a lot of food as well. I usually buy the 22lb bags of pet food and it fits in here no problem. You could use it for anything really, even if you didn’t want to use it for pet food. It also keeps moisture in without the food getting soggy which again, is a plus for where I live. 10/10 excellent product ... show more

In the great war between man vs. cat, there is and almost always must be an escalation of arms. The cats, our clever foes, consistently think of new ways to utilize their fantastic natural endowments to irritate humanity to ever-reaching heights. Man must strike back. We lack the stealth, patience, razor sharp claws, night vision and supreme agility to overcome the cats in a standoff of direct physical confrontation... but unbeknownst to the cats, we DO outwit them in our cunning. By extracting the compressed, liquefied remains of our ancestors and refining them, we produce a cheap-yet-durable material that we have dubbed "plastic." It can be made both rigid and soft, and it's appearance and form are eminently and easily configurable. It is also impenetrable by domestic cat claws.
