I needed two. One for indoors for my dog's food and one for outdoors for the bird seed (the wild birds go through a LOT each day so I needed a large bin). My biggest concern was that moisture would seep in to the container if it were to rain. I needed to keep one bin outdoors and unprotected from the elements in direct sunlight. I've had it for a week and it has literally rained non-stop. I was also concerned rodents may penetrate through the container. It is thick plastic so I am no longer concerned about any rodents. As for the seal, it has so far been totally rainproof in spite of the downpours all week. Yay!! There have been no leaks whatsoever from the constant rain. The seal appears to be very efficient. That said, I'll update if the UV rays affect the seal in what may seem untimely to me. I know the direct sunlight will eventually dry out the seal and it'll need to be replaced. I hope to get at least 6 months of constant use this summer. So far, very pleased with the quality of these bins and recommend. Also, it may be worth noting that the wheels were extremely easy to attach. They simply slip into snug plastic slots. No tools required. ... show more

These are great for storing bulk dog and chicken food that comes in bags. It keeps bugs and rodents away with the airtight lid. The wheels are nice because it's such a large, heavy amount of food. It's a sturdy container and arrived quickly. I like the colors.

I didn’t put the wheels on mine because I have it stored in the corner with other large items. I don’t really need it to be moved. It’s perfect for large dog food bag. It also deals very well so I don’t have to worry about bugs getting inside.

This is a great storage container. It's stronger than it looks, convenient, and easy to move around with it's wheels. It's better than other containers, or leaving the dog food bag out. But this is not airtight.

I have bought several of these containers in the past for varying reasons – dog food, wild bird feed, etc. I upgraded this time to the biggest version since it wasn’t available the last time I ordered. It’s identical to other ones, with one notable difference - the gray latch on this one is nowhere near as tight as the others. It will flip open very easily. This might be a manufacturing issue with my specific one or it may be on all of them, but it really needs to be tighter if it’s going to hold any kind of animal food. I deducted one star for that. I will say that one specific improvement I have seen over other versions is that when I put the wheels in, they actually stayed in the holes and didn’t fall out.
