Good size; thinner plastic than I thought it would be. Lid has styrofoam seal under edge of lid which will probably wear out faster than I’d like. Lid is sturdy plastic & has a handle latch that clicks tightly when lid is closed — a good tight seal Hinges are not very good. Lid has 2 (~2”) j shaped plastic edges that hook into 2 small rods on rear lip of can — comes undone most times I open the lid; with practice, I can get lid to stay on after I open it. Can is a bit transparent — which is great — can monitor level of food product inside can. Rolls pretty good too. It’s a keeper !! ... show more

I received this item this is the 5th I have purchased in the past year. They are as described, durable, airtight. This size will hold aprox 50 lbs of food small to medium bits. I am a dog breeder and have several wholesale sources, the quality verses the savings does not even compare to this product. This particular item was in a sealed box but it was missing the caster wheels. I contacted Amazon and they sent out a immediate replacement. I would still be waiting from wholesale sources overall savings would be the sales tax. When purchasing food 200-240 lbs at a time, this product is great for storage. When full to top 50+ pounds with metal food scoop, these glide effortlessly with ease. They are strong and durable and I can push from 1 feeder to another. I have also checked a similar item at Tractor Supply, they were a little higher in price and just handling item in store without food, it was not sturdy, it wobbled, the lids were not hinged and did not fit tightly. Is you are looking I would strongly suggest to go with this one and be done with Amazon's hassle free service. I hope this is helpful to other consumers. ... show more

I would give this zero stars if I could. I received what appears to be a return. No product labels are on it (like in the picture or at all.) and the lid has been taped shut with strapping tape. No shipping invoice of any kind. And it says my only option is to return it because no replacements are available. Yet it will let me buy one.
