This well made and very sturdy "vault" is THE solution to storage of bird seed, dry pet food, anything at all. It holds a 40lb bag of sunflower seeds with ease, has a large, easy-to-turn round handle that is positioned at an angle which makes access easy and quick. It is made of exceptionally strong material that keeps animals out and keeps food fresh. It is stackable with other units and comes in a variety of configuration with regard to the large lid which screws on securely. We bought this to store our dog’s food when he goes to boarding, and it’s worked great. We have a medium-sized Border Collie, and this container easily holds over 10 days’ worth of kibble. It’s also easy to transport in the car for boarding trips. The lid seals very well, so I don’t have to worry about the food going stale or spilling during transport. My only small complaint is the portability. There are recessed side grips, but not very practical. I still can’t comfortably carry the container with one hand. Since it’s a relatively small container, having to use both hands every time I move it around is a little inconvenient. I just want to share with shoppers looking at and/or considering purchasing a Gamma2 Vittles Vault, you cannot go wrong. They’re super clean and easy to use, and the lid closes tightly to keep your pet’s food airtight and fresh as can be. I just bought my 2nd one. I had picked up one about a year ago for my cat’s dry food, and thanks to the Vittles Bault I avoided a major spill when I moved the container and it fell off the bench I keep it on in the garage. That saved a big mess because the air tight seal is secure and legit. The container itself is rigged and can take a beating and still stand up and perform its intended purpose. I’m happy now my dog’s food will also now be safe, secure and freshness maintained due to the air tight dealing lid. It’s quality for thr price. Realistic review here - Great product that keeps my dog's food perfectly safe and clean. I have owned one of the same items for over three years without any issues at all. Having had to change one of their diets, I needed to buy another Gamma2 Vittles Vault for the second food type. So, why the four stars, you ask? Upon trying to stack these two bins in my pantry (as advertised in their video), I was unpleasantly surprised to find that the top unit is so wobbly even when aligned with the slots of the bottom unit. When I go to open the top unit (filled with 23 lbs of food) it still wants to rotate on top of the bottom unit as the grooves are somewhat misaligned due to the shape of the two units being "off" slightly. The product is made of strong, thick, industrial food-grade plastic so when it is out of shape from being in heat, I am pretty sure this problem arises. ENGINEERS: Might want to include some 3M Rubber feet that can take up the gap between stacked bins? Just a thought. ... show more

This container is a bit on the pricey side, however it is easy to get the lid on, it seals well, and it holds a lot of food. It keeps the food fresh and is easy to store out of the way. I bought the Vault for my Siberian Husky puppy, Koa, and it’s been one of those purchases I wish I had made sooner. Before this, I was keeping his food in the original bag, which was awkward to store and never seemed to seal properly. The Vittles Vault is easy to fill, easy to open, and the airtight lid does a great job keeping the food fresh while helping contain the smell. I’ve noticed the kibble stays crisp longer, and I don’t have to worry about moisture or pests getting into the food thanks to the airtight design. The container feels sturdy, the plastic is thick, and it doesn’t look cheap sitting in the pantry. Even with a large bag of puppy food inside, it’s easy enough to move around when needed. The wide opening also makes scooping food quick and mess-free. If you buy dog food in larger bags and want a cleaner, more organized way to store it, I highly recommend this container. Koa’s food stays fresh, my pantry stays organized, and I no longer have a giant bag of kibble taking up space. ... show more
