  • Works well for the price.
Size: 4'x4'
This works good to level out uneven dirt. I'm not sure it would work as well if you're trying to level out uneven grass-clumping as the tines don't really dig in as much as tumble around on top of the ground. Also, there is a stabilizing rod that goes in the top ring of chains that does not stay put. I eventually removed it and did not notice any difference. The key to these is to keep up your speed a little bit in turns so it doesn't come unhooked. Overall, it works well for our property. ... show more

  • Works Better Than Expected
Size: 4'x5.6'
This harrow works better than I expected it to. I have to put some weight on it (large rocks) but, that isn't a problem. The only issue I have had is it coming off the hitch on the tractor & the connector bars bent, slightly. A better instruction on the "locking" bar installation would have been helpful, but over time, I figured it out. ... show more

  • Did a great job and well worth the $60.
Size: 4' x 5'
I ended up making a quick hitch for the harrow so I just had to remove the same pin I use on my poly cart. Also, I pinched two 3/16 thick bars to the back to put some weight on the tail. These extra bars not only did more work, but they prevented the back of the mat from unraveling. Before and after photos above. A quick scratch with the stone rake to remove the rest of the small stones and I will be ready for seed. The tractor shovel was a great aid to scoop up the rocks the harrow lifted and to move the dirt around. ... show more

  • Not sure of my thoughts…
Size: 4'x4'
The media could not be loaded. I love the idea of this. And for the most part it works really well. However the hook connections continue to fall of very easily, causing me to continually stop and reconnect, and you can see where I have the orange baling twine is where a long metal hook is suppose to be but it fell of and I lost it the very first day. Tying the twine on has worked fine. However the harrow also has hooks attached that then are able to be hooked onto that same metal pull bar and those continue to come unhooked as well. It’s very frustrating having to stop and reconnect every pass or so. I sat a large wooden pallet on-top and tied it to the harrow to add weight. That has helped with the depth of the plowing or harrowing as well as helped to keep the hooks connected to the pull bar for longer periods of time. Not sure exactly how to solve these issues without having to purchase a lot of D rings and other things to try and make hooks into a more permanent type of connection. I love the idea of it, and I love the ease in which it quickly fits as a whole over the hitch with the large heavy duty metal ring. I am a 56 year old Grammy that started very small backyard type sheep farm that I own and run by myself 4 1/2 years ago. Income does not bring in large amounts of money so every penny needs to be spent frugally and wisely. This harrow has in all reality helped to fix and maintain my pasture in a better way so far, however I also feel that for the price it costs, there should be less issues right out of the gate, and less operational issues. Hadn’t even used for 20 minutes and lost the large hook bar that connects the harrow to the metal ring that goes over the hitch. I eventually found it a couple weeks later, but the problem with it falling off continues. I’m grateful for the ease of use, but not so much with the connections and continual issues I have with keeping it attached to itself and to my lawn tractor. ... show more

  • Great value

  • It works alright but it the long-term life is yet to be proven.
Size: 4' x 5'
We've only had this drag for a few months and started using it daily in the last few weeks. One thing to note, like any other drag you need just enough weight to give it sufficient pressure to do the job, but not too much. And putting something like cinderblocks between the bars isn't always viable because the bars are such slick metal they slide off constantly. I rigged some plates and long lag-bolts up to hold the blocks in place for now, and we'll see if the chain holds up. It feels a little iffy on the connections and when you catch long roots or rocks hidden in sand like we have, you wince every time and worry. ... show more
