Like a lot of people, I got hit with a return-to-office mandate and was looking for something to make my desk feel a little less sterile. I've always loved betta fish, so I decided to get this aquarium and to get a cool betta to keep me company. In comes Colonel Mustard, a mustard blue and yellow betta, after I set this tank up for a few weeks to cycle. The tank looks incredibly sleek and professional. It's 4 gallons it's large enough for a betta to thrive but compact enough to fit comfortably on my desk without taking over my workspace. It fits 3 live plants, a nice hide, some fake plants near the bottom for looks and little piece of driftwood. The ultra-clear glass is gorgeous, and the clear sides on all sides makes it easy to enjoy watching my fish from any angle. Several coworkers have commented on how nice it looks, but many didn't even realize I had a fish tank at first because it's so clean and minimalist. One of the biggest surprises was how quiet it is. The built in pump is practically silent (well, until it needs more water!) and the gentle water circulation doesn't create distracting noise. I was worried an aquarium would annoy nearby coworkers, but nobody can hear it. The adjustable flow is also perfect for a betta since I can keep the current nice and gentle since he doesn't seem to be the best swimmer, ironically. The automatic feeder was the feature that sold me. I don't come into the office on weekends, so I was concerned about my little desk companion going without food. Being able to program feeding intervals and portion sizes means I know he's taken care of even when I'm away for a few days. It's one less thing to worry about during busy workweeks. I also appreciate how easy the tank is to maintain. The filtration, oxygenation, and circulation are all built into one system, and the removable lid makes cleaning simple. The built-in temperature display is a nice touch, and the customizable LED lighting lets me switch between different colors depending on my mood. It is short so I have to use a manual cleaner instead of a powered one, but I have added a snail to help keep things clean and distributed so hopefully it wont be too massive to keep up. If you're looking for a low maintenance, attractive desktop aquarium for a betta fish, especially in an shared environment, this setup is fantastic. It's quiet, easy to care for, looks incredibly professional and colonel mustard enjoys always eating at the same time thanks to the auto feeder. A great deal for me.

The filter didn’t work so I tried talking with the seller & he sent me a new filter , the new filter was for a 40-70 gallon tank and mine is 4.2 gallons so the motor on the filter was to strong and cause the water to wave and the fishes became instantly scared so if I could give 0 stars a I would for the lack of consideration and education on the topic and he still will not give a solution even when I’ve offered to return the other filter

The fish tank is a great size for about 5,8 -10 inch fish. It is very good quality and really nice to look at. I love the stability and the durability of it. The filter performance is very good once I receive my replacement for the broken one. I first got and it is a great value for your money and the lighting is amazing.

This tank is not suitable for Neon tetras or other small fish. I purchased six Neons yesterday and four of them were found stuck to the bottom of the "impurity suction port" and died today.
