At first this item did not work, I was going to return it...I had to charge it quite a few times...my determination paid off...but the leads that plug into the jump charger and clip to the vehicle's battery posts are very short...a longer set of clip leads would definitely make it work properly/more efficiently. So, except for needing longer leads, it does the job.

I bought 2 jump starters this one with coupon for 40$ then Another one saying 3000 amp and 24000mah for half off coupon for 50$ . This one is half the weight as other one so doubt its only 2000mah smaller. Also this one did not come with case. Other one came with case and is NICE QUALITY looking. Looks better than even the 200$ one i have from antigravity... But if u want one that is light weight to store say in a motorcycle , or waverunner where weight hinders overall performance. (speed runs etc lol) then i dont mind this weaker lighter one for my waverunners incase a battery goes dead or someone on a boat etc needs a jump start. This did just jump start my 2019 mustang gt 5.0 pp1 with totally dead stock battery and did so EASILYYYYYY so yes it does jump start a total dead battery like a boss. It balled up on that mofo. I do wish it came with a case though. kind of sad it did not.

I have not used it to start a car but here are my impressions and tips. First, this does not come with a case as some others do. I think they should add a case but I just used a plastic bag. The instructions are confusing. Here is what to do: Turn on the red switch on the side. Quick press the black button on the LCD panel to show the charge percent. It may show 100% but you should hold down the same button for 3 seconds to turn on the LED light. The charge will go down so let it stay on for 5 - 10 minutes until the charge steadies. Turn off the light by pressing and holding for 3 seconds (keep the red switch on) and charge it with a 5V USB adapter that plugs into the type C socket. The display should show "in" for charging. It feels light weight and looks nice. The cables with the clamps are short so they will work with a standard car battery but may not on some cars (Chrysler 300M). You may need to connect the black cable to nearby metal frame or engine for the ground. You should tag the unit with a post-it note showing when you last charged it. I will give it 5 stars but it really deserves 4 1/2 due to lack of a case.
