I recently bought this baby monitor for future use. My baby is on the way! It came with a camera, a monitor station, and two chargers. It is easy to set up. The monitor features a clear camera display, a baby music player, a talk button for communicating with my little one, and a helpful baby feeding reminder. I love the baby music players; five types of baby music are available. All the music is very soft and peaceful. The camera also has room temperature monitors. However, the camera must always be plugged in, which is inconvenient. This definitely limits the choice of where I can place the camera. The video quality is excellent, both during the day and at night thanks to the clear infrared night vision. The screen is bright and sharp, and the size is just right — big enough to see our baby clearly without being bulky. One of my favorite features is the two-way audio, which lets us talk or soothe our baby without going into the room. The battery life is solid. The media could not be loaded. This baby monitor has some nice features and is intuitive to use. When you hit the menu button you see options for volume, brightness, pairing the camera, timer, and setting. There is a bar at the top that gives you the outside temperature and time, which is very convenient. You can Zoom and rotate the camera remotely. I found the picture to be pretty clear, even though we are looking through a pack and play screen. I haven't tried talking to the baby through the monitor, but my other children have and they love this feature. I have found the range to be good, as we can bring it anywhere in the house. When we take it out to the garage, the monitor tends to go into power-saving mode more quickly: probably because we are pushing the boundaries of its range, but this isn't a problem. Overall, I would definitely recommend this monitor. It's wonderful having the peace-of-mind to see and hear the baby from anywhere in the house. ... show more

One of the main reasons my husband and I chose it is because it doesn’t require WiFi or any phone app to work. It comes with its own monitor, which makes it super simple and easy to use — just plug it in and it’s ready to go. The video and sound are clear and responsive. For privacy reasons, I won’t show the screen here, but I’ve included a look at the packaging — it came well-packed and in great condition. The whole setup feels very secure, which is important to me, since I worry about privacy risks with WiFi-connected monitors. This one does exactly what I need without any hassle. I love how clear the image on the screen is on this monitor. The folding stand is convenient so that you can prop it up but also place the screen in your pocket when needed for easy carrying. This is our second time purchasing a vava monitor and our first one is still working after more than 5 years. I am excited to have a second one for our second child and have no doubt that we will have the same experience with this one as we have with our original model. I've been in the market for a reasonably priced baby monitor and love this VAVA monitor. I chose this brand because I have their egg night light and the customer service was great as was their product (going on 5 year strong). The picture quality and connection are good. I'm able to see my baby from upstairs while he's napping. The night vision has been so valuable during our sleep training journey, and I only wish I had bought this earlier. ... show more
