I bought this as a travel monitor because the price was so good but I would 100% reccomend it even for a main monitor. There is no pairing involved so you just plug it in and it's connected and works great. The picture is really clear and the audio works great. Battery lasted a long time as well. I had it unplugged for a number of hours with no issues. Just a great simple monitor. The screen isn't that big but you can clearly see your baby and you honestly can't beat the price!

Love this camera. It has a big range I can go to the neighbors and still get a clear photo. I didn’t realize it wasn’t one that would be able to moved from the panel but it was okay. Battery life was super long.

It performs well, the sound & picture quality is good, I can see what I need to see- do I need really need to go in his room or he okay? I don’t want to go in & disturb him if he is going to self-soothe himself back to sleep. It’s perfect to take when you for travel or to have at grandparent's house or at the babysitters. This is the 3rd one I’ve purchased. The 1st one worked for more than 6 years & I replaced it 2 years ago. I actually bought this just particularly for the camera as I needed an additional view. It says that you can use it with 4 cameras. The set up is easy & pairing the cameras to the monitor is also spelled out in the instructions. Well I wish I would have found & read a review here on Amazon written by: “Michelle Shafer-McManus” on October 1, 2023 because I couldn’t find instructions on how to switch between the 2 cameras on my monitor. In her review, she stated that “You can add up to four cameras! … I will say though…I wish that it was easier to switch cameras instead of unpairing the one that is not being in use. “ I don’t get what is the purpose of being able to use it with 4 different cameras if you have to pair & unpair each camera. To pair the monitor & camera, you have to press the “pair” button on the back of each of the cameras every time, defeating the purpose of watching on a monitor. Also if you were to have 2 children napping in separate rooms & a couple more kids playing in another room while you’re making lunch, you would want to have one monitor in the kitchen that you could switch camera views to check on them, not 3 or 4 monitors taking up valuable counter space. Bought this because I finally got sick of the lag and having to completely close/reopen the app for my Owlet. Mine came used so I don’t know if there was any pairing necessary. The camera is reeeally zoomed in and the cord is pretty short but if you’re creative you can make it work, I used twine to tie mine to the crib on opposite end he sleeps on and it catches full view of almost both sides of the mattress and from his belly up. I was a little worried when one review said there was no way to turn off the volume since we have music always playing- I messed with it a while before finally just looking at the manual which is pretty straightforward. You can adjust sound pressing left/right, brightness pressing up/down, and eco mode is basically the “alert” mode which turns off the screen and sound until it picks up a volume loud enough (low/medium/high options) to turn back on- although I guess I would prefer motion detection it’s not make-or-break for me. Doesn’t show room temperature, but it has an alarm (although it doesn’t count down, only tells you how long it was originally set for) for tracking between feeds which is easier for me to remember to set than using my phone. It’s super bright in night mode, his room is too dark in the day to trigger it off so not sure about the color. The quality is eh, but if you look closely for a minute you can see movement from breathing so that’s all that really matters. We’re in a studio so I’m not sure about connectivity between floors, but I was able to walk almost all the way to the garage (like ~6-7 car lengths away from the camera) before it lost connection. Overall would recommend it for the price, and the convenience of not having to juggling an app feed on my phone.

I’ve had it for about a month, and do love the simplicity of this camera. It’s nice that it isn’t connected to WiFi, and I like the idea that I can connect multiple cameras to one parent unit. I haven’t used Eco mode personally, but my husband said it took a lot for it to actually detect the baby fussing and crying. At one point he could hear her crying upstairs from downstairs before the monitor turned on. I also don’t use the timers, but accidentally tuned it on once and the beeping seems like it would be great for that purpose! I will say, it tends to glitch and freeze fairly often. The monitor will either go black, or will get black and white lines and squares all over the screen and the audio will go out. It usually returns after a few seconds, but still is frustrating at times. It has also started disconnecting randomly but usually reconnects quickly. The furthest away I am is downstairs which is maybe 30 feet away through the floor. Even on the lowest setting the screen is bright at night when I’m sleeping so I usually put it face down on my nightstand. But for the price it seems to do the job fairly well otherwise.
