We got this baby monitor because we have another one of this brand already and we have liked it. This one is good too. We like the bigger parent unit so you can see the screen better. The sound is nice and loud. The only thing I would say I don’t like is how zoomed-in the camera looks. We have ours a few feet away from our baby, but it is like the camera is right above her. We had purchased this monitor after our previous monitor had stopped working. I love it from the beginning. The price was reasonable, it was easy to set up right from the start and extremely easy to use. After about 2 months, something happened to the screen and half of it didn't show a picture. I contacted the company to see if there was anything they could do because we had just bought the monitor. They were very quick to contact me back and get me in touch with the correct person to help. They requested I reset the monitor, which didn't do anything, and immediately when I let them know they said they would send me a new one. The email interaction was kind, supportive and helpful. I cannot say enough great things about their customer service. I now have a new parent unit that works perfectly and the problem was resolved in a little over a week. We have a quite elderly relatively who requires an oxygen assist. We put this next to her bed, just to be able to monitor her--and it works very well! Once we got it connected properly, we get a clear signal throughout our home (two floors maybe 2,500 sq ft). That said, the range isn't unlimited, we did have to try several different camera placements to get a strong signal. I needed this so I can go outside while baby is resting this is perfect. I like that it's not an app and not connected to my wifi. The first unit that arrived sat unopened for a couple of months. NOTE: the original return date is 30 days. The unit wouldn't work. They stood by their product, assited with trouble shooting and when that failed, they replaced the enire unit. In vox mode, its able to detect and turn display upon detecting minor changes in sound level. - Night vision is decent - two ways talk feature works well - has few more other features as described - better design than competitors Cons - Avg pic quality - Avg battery life. Certainly not as claimed to be. Also monitor takes a long time to get fully charged - Temperature sensor not accurate. Overall, great camera for the price but you will need to charge it often! Even when I charge it fully at night, by midday I’m having to place back on the charger. That’s even with me changing the setting to where it only comes on when there a noise.
