The media could not be loaded. We ordered and returned SO MANY monitors before getting this one. I really love this monitor, it's so nice and small that it fits perfectly in my pocket (most other ones are just so massive). We've had no problem seeing everything we need to on such a "small" screen. The range is incredible, we've gotten it to reach way further than the marketed range. We would have preferred a split screen, but they just don't make them with the volume customization that we were looking for... let me explain. Here is how the volume control on this two camera model (vtech VM923-2) works. If only camera one is selected, volume can be turned off or on for that camera. If only camera two is selected, volume can be turned off or on for that camera. If the rotating mode where it displays camera one for ten seconds, then camera two for ten seconds, is turned on you cannot control the volume of each camera individually. Either volume from both is turned on or volume from both is turned off. You cannot have it on rotating camera mode and have camera one on volume level five and camera two on volume level one. They have to be at the same volume level on rotating mode. You also cannot have it on the rotating mode and have volume from camera one on and volume from camera two off. Either both cameras volume is on or both off (on rotating mode). If during the night you have it on rotating camera mode, let's say your child in the room with camera one starts crying. There could be up to a ten second delay in you hearing it through the monitor since it is switching between the two. Again hopefully that makes sense. We have had no issue with this functionality at all, we really love how it works. One other small note, as you're selecting options on the menu, the monitor makes a "confirmation noise". It cannot be turned down or turned off. So if you go to change something during the night be prepared to hear that each time. Apparently I'm very passionate about this, considering I just wrote a novel, but I just read so many reviews for so many monitors while we were shopping for one and no one would explain how volume on a two camera monitor works. So hopefully I've helped someone out there who was like me! ... show more

This monitor is wonderful. Very much worth the cost. The video is clear even when babies room is pitch black. It has some cool features such as showing the temperature in the babies room, as well as varying volumes so you can hear every single little sound, or only hear it as a baby gets louder. This is a great monitor with two cameras for the price. Best I could find. I didn’t want anything fancy, but this still felt like a step up from our previous monitor because the camera pans. It does what we need it to, I like that I can move the camera. The controls, sounds and menu are a little annoying to me but it wasn’t worth returning and starting my search over again. I wish there were volume buttons on the side to easily adjust, but there aren’t. You have to select the menu for volume, adjust, and select again so it stays at that volume. Every time you select anything it makes a tone, as if to say “Ok! I got it!” Completely unnecessary, and slightly annoying especially when the house is quiet. Picture quality is pretty good - the closer the camera is the better quality you’ll have. Ours is set up across the room for our toddler - but I can see what I need to and pan the camera if he gets out of bed. We are currently only using one camera so I can’t say how easily it switches between cameras. Overall, great monitor- just took away one star for the volume buttons and selection tone mentioned! ... show more

Love this! Very Uncomplicated. Good sound, good reach. Batteries last a good amount of time. I put one in the baby room and one in the chicken coop. HA! I can monitor either or both. The music is a nice touch as well. It was a good choice.

It was an awesome budget friendly baby monitor while we had it. Sadly our puppy destroyed the monitor screen and unable to use it again. The camera is not compatible to a different monitor so the cameras are wasted. Hopefully this company could find a way to sync a new monitor to a different set of cameras. ... show more

The picture quality is pretty good. The sound is good without lag. I feel very comfortable using it knowing it has no wifi capabilities. The biggest problem i have is it is very zoomed in and has no way of seeing the entire room in the same frame which is extremely unhelpful when you have multiple rambunctious boys sharing a room. It's great for watching over the crib but I'll be using a different camera for my boys room unfortunately. ... show more

Ok so the reason I’m not into WiFi baby monitors is that I remember years ago it was in the news some guy hacked into the room cámara the lady had for her daughter and started telling the little girl lets play the mom notice the man talking through the cámara. That’s said I’m really happy with this purchase I have been using this for a while now. I really pleased it has a good range so due to that news I been using just the radio monitors from vtech for years but finally with our second baby we decided to see if vtech had similar quality with video and we love this. My friend spend 350 on a fancy one and she said it only lasted 3 months now she also switched to Vtech. If you have 2 kids I highly recommend the two cámaras is worth the price. I’m able to see my kids in the dark no glitches or issue is working great. This has been a game changer no more concerns when you stopped hearing them at night with the radio monitor I used to go to see if something’s was blocking their nose. Now I can just looked at them with piece of mind that nobody is looking at my kids. ... show more
