  • Great camera!
Size: 2 Cameras
Great value for the money. Super easy to use; it’s very “plug and play”, just plug it in and it works right away. The sound is good, temperature seems accurate, no lag, seems pretty sturdy. I love that it doesn’t use wifi, the battery lasts a good while, I like that it flips through both cameras, the night vision is good as well, no lag. ... show more

  • Baby Camera
Size: VM923-1 1 Camera
Love the camera. Installing is super easy, you can take it down and put it on a table to view while sleeping and then put it back up on the instantly. It is safe since it is not connected to wifi, and the range of the monitor is great.

  • Simple and Reliable Baby Monitor With Good Video Quality
Size: VM923-1 1 Camera
This baby monitor has been a great addition to our nursery. The setup was very easy and the connection between the camera and the monitor works well without needing Wi-Fi, which gives extra peace of mind. The video quality is clear enough to easily see the baby, and the pan and tilt feature is very helpful to adjust the view without having to go into the room. The sound detection also works well and alerts you when the baby starts making noise. Overall it’s a simple and reliable monitor that does exactly what you need it to do for keeping an eye on your baby. ... show more

  • Reliable duel camera Reliable duel camera

The overall quality of this camera and monitor is good and we enjoy the use of it. There are a couple cons with it, but overall it is a good camera. Pictured, the stand on the back of this monitor is not big enough to hold it upright if on a soft surface such as a couch. You have to use something to stand it up or put it on a table. Not a huge issue, but the generation we had before this one had a better stand on it. The night vision quality is good, but not as clear as what we were expecting. I do love that the light shows the sound level in the room going from green to Orange to red if your little one is very upset. It also has a sleep mode that still has the sound on, but the bright light the screen is off. Set up was also very simple and it comes with wall mounts. The chords that come with each item are very long, which is extremely helpful . Overall, the camera is a good buy and worth the money considering the price is about middle ground when it comes to baby monitors. ... show more

  • Finally the volume control I was looking for in a dual monitor!!!
Size: VM923-2 2 Cameras
We ordered and returned SO MANY monitors before getting this one. I really love this monitor, it's so nice and small that it fits perfectly in my pocket (most other ones are just so massive). We've had no problem seeing everything we need to on such a "small" screen. The range is incredible, we've gotten it to reach way further than the marketed range. We would have preferred a split screen, but they just don't make them with the volume customization that we were looking for... let me explain. Here is how the volume control on this two camera model (vtech VM923-2) works. If only camera one is selected, volume can be turned off or on for that camera. If only camera two is selected, volume can be turned off or on for that camera. If the rotating mode where it displays camera one for ten seconds, then camera two for ten seconds, is turned on you cannot control the volume of each camera individually. Either volume from both is turned on or volume from both is turned off. You cannot have it on rotating camera mode and have camera one on volume level five and camera two on volume level one. They have to be at the same volume level on rotating mode. You also cannot have it on the rotating mode and have volume from camera one on and volume from camera two off. Either both cameras volume is on or both off (on rotating mode). If during the night you have it on rotating camera mode, let's say your child in the room with camera one starts crying. There could be up to a ten second delay in you hearing it through the monitor since it is switching between the two. Again hopefully that makes sense. We have had no issue with this functionality at all, we really love how it works. One other small note, as you're selecting options on the menu, the monitor makes a "confirmation noise". It cannot be turned down or turned off. So if you go to change something during the night be prepared to hear that each time. Apparently I'm very passionate about this, considering I just wrote a novel, but I just read so many reviews for so many monitors while we were shopping for one and no one would explain how volume on a two camera monitor works. So hopefully I've helped someone out there who was like me! ... show more

  • Bigger upgrade

The quality of picture is by far way better than the smaller version of monitors I have. It was an easy install! The screen is also big and connection strength goes pretty far!

  • The sound is absolute garbage The sound is absolute garbage
Size: 2 Cameras
Update 1 year later: I got this setup originally in late 2023 a couple months before my November baby was born as this was for him. I'm changing my 3 star review to 1 until vtech does something. Vtech has a sepearate customer service page just for their baby monitor systems. I contacted them months ago over the temperature icon suddenly disappearing. No reply. It reappeared eventually though so I never bothered reaching out agaun for it. As of having it for a year now though more issues have popped up and the biggest one being one of the three cords has stopped working. Won't charge the monitor or turn on the cameras. It's just. A dead cord now. Second, the monitor hardly retains as much battery life anymore. The battery life for the monitor over time has gone down a lot which has made the cord issue all the bigger because if i need to charge the monitor I'm down one camera. Three. One of the cameras now has rotation issues to the point where it fully stops mid rotation, chugs along funny, and turns at the pace of a snail. I contacted vtech asking HOW i could replace the cord last week at this point. It's been almost a whole business week with no reply. And I thought I'd add this fun picture since having this system. Vtech claims it can only have 2 cameras. My monitor has glitches a couple times to have this screen and I was lucky on the second time it happened to catch a Pic. Still can only have 2 cams but :( I'm sure there's enough videos that I don't need to add my own but this video monitor while great for the price is absolutely crap sound wise. It was right next to a room and could not pick up on one of my kids crying bloody murder when we could hear him across the house. Monitor has issues picking up on sounds next to it altogether. My kid has screamed at the monitor and not only does the sound lag it hardly picks up even at full volume. The other con for this thing is the image quality is super meh. If you wanna see if the kid is sleeping or breathing the image fuzzes so much you can't even tell if their eyes are closed. The battery quality also is weirdly 50/50 on how long it lasts. We'll charge it fully and it'll either last hours near the full time it says or half that. No changed settings. It also does not do good near any sunlight. Ruins the image entirely. We have curtains in the room we have this in and sunlight just icks it. It cannot face the window at all. Some pros to this are its night vision. The night vision is pretty bright and I'm decently impressed with it. The two way talk is nice as well. My kids can definitely hear me through it. Though it is a little bit of a con for them that we can't hear each other at the same time if they make noise back. And that the camera mutes itself any time it moves. This camera also has no invert features that will allow you to change the image set up of the camera. Like if you turn it upside down on the hanging mount your side images are goofed. So to have the image perfect without goof you will have a blind spot directly down. And to add to the sound being garbage I turned on the music. Super loud on the parent unit. Actually went out to hear it myself and nothing. Barely anything. It is what it is. So overall to sum it up despite its low price for a double came monitor...if ever comes to need to buy a new one or replace...I would not buy this one again for my needs. ... show more
